We arrived in Paris by train (Paris Est) and were relieved to find that the hotel is just across the street from the Metro station. First thing they did was give us a city map and marked the spot where we were. We were early, so they just kept our bags and asked us to be back in an hour or so. It gave us enough time to have lunch nearby. The Eiffel Tower is about 15 minutes away by walk.

There are a few restaurants, bars, and grocery shops within walking distance. There's a Subway across the road, and Mc Donalds a few blocks away (that's open till 1130pm at least for when everything else is closed). There's a bar next door which is open till late hours of the night. We didn't feel unsafe walking back at night, even at 1am after the Metros were shut for the day.

Our room didn't face the main road so it was very quiet. We got the 1st floor room (there's an elevator) and the view was of other buildings and homes, but we were barely in our rooms so it wasn't an issue. The curtains kept the light away so we could sleep in late. The rooms are smaller than when we're used to in other cities, but by Paris standards it was good. We emptied our luggage into the wardrobe and kept the suitcase in so it didn't feel cluttered.

The rooms were cleaned everyday. There's a water kettle with an assortment of teas and coffee which was very convenient. The bathroom has basic toiletries and a hair dryer, and was quite clean.

The front desk is manned 24 hours, and the receptionists spoke good English and were able to help us with directions.

Would surely recommend.

Room Tip: I would guess the rooms facing the road would be noisy because of the pubs that remain open till lat...

Booked a stay here for our 35th wedding anniversary & sent an e-mail in early April requesting a view of the Eiffel Tower if possible - this was acknowledged immediately with a comment to say they had made a note of our request so we felt quite optimistic. However, when we arrived, the very officious and unfriendly receptionist on duty said they not only had no such room available but they had no note at all of our request. When we showed her a copy of the correspondence we'd received, this just seemed to make her even more irritated and unwelcoming. While we didn't expect their e-mail meant we were absolutely guaranteed a room with a view, we did think she could have been considerably less unpleasant and perhaps apologised that unfortunately they couldn't accommodate our request. Instead she just said very brusquely and as if we were really causing her a major problem, 'Well, leave your cases if you want and maybe you'll get a room with a view when you come back but then maybe you won't.' She seemed so annoyed by us even asking and so completely uninterested and curt that we had no confidence at all she would try to help us even if she could so we decided to take the room we were offered - without a view. All in all a very disappointing welcome to Paris.
Other than that, the room was nice, clean and quiet and the hotel in a good location. Other staff we saw on Reception were actually very nice but I'm afraid our 'welcome' really marred our opinion of the hotel.

This was a small hotel located on a busy street, and across the street from the subway.
Our room was nice and what we expected it to be. The window was facing the busy street so it was VERY noisy. Especially in the morning.
The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful, but there was a tall male whom we did not take favor to when speaking with him.
I don't remember if the breakfast was included or not, but we never ate there. It is a very small buffet.
Subway across the street is convenient, and if you walk two blocks down to the right, there is alot of shopping.
We also woke up one morning to a market set up under the subway. That was a fun experience.
It was a 15 min walk to the tower, but I still didn't feel like it was the prime area to be in. If we went back, I would not stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: If noise bothers your sleep, don't stay in room off the main street.

We had planned a 2 week trip following the Tour De France to finish in Paris. We stayed in 6 different Hotels in the South of France with amazing service. We arrived in Paris to be told by the Hotel Manager that they could not accommodate us. This Hotel was the 1st booking I made when planning the trip and even had emails to confirm parking and that we could book out at 1pm so was a long standing booking. The re-directed us to another Hotel which was rated 42% compared to their 87%. Luckily we had a car and had not made our way by Metro.
Not a good welcome to Paris and with no explanation.

Room Tip: Suggest you double check that you still have a valid Booking!!!

The hotel is conveniently located in nice neighborhoods. Lots of great restaurants and local shops nearby. Excellent with Dupleix metro station just outside the door. The staff is friendly and service oriented. Offers advice and tips for the tourist. The room was a superior room with a large bathroom.

Stayed 7/15 thru 20. Ideal location for both metro and walking. Can see top of Eiffel Tower from room (407). Room extremely quiet even though across the street from metro. Room small but clean and efficient. Didn't do breakfast as there are multiple places on the streets to eat and enjoy people watching. Versailles by metro was painless from Dupleix station with minimal transfers. Easy walk to Seine and Eiffel Tower. All popular attractions are easily accessible by metro. Staff was very helpful. Set us up with dry cleaner across the street and laundromat two blocks away. Great if you are staying for several days. Good, cold a/c. I had to set thermostat to higher temp.
Hotel will let you park your luggage if you come in early(before 2) overall good value for the money and location

Room Tip: Window opens on to street and can see top of Eiffel Tower. Not a real scenic view but pleasant (room...

Friendly stuff and close to excellent restaurants (better then on Champs-Élysées except maybe the expensive ones like Fouquet’s). We decided not to include the breakfast so we can explore different choices and it was a good idea. Plenty of places to eat around very close. Also 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel tower and maybe 20 minutes to Trocadero.

The rooms are cozy (we stayed at the 5th floor and 3 floor), modern and nicely decorated, with electric teapot & tea, coffee, sugar (very nice touch), obviously small rooms like in most Paris hotels. They were clean and for Paris quite clean if you know what I mean. Daily room service.
Internet access was free but not brilliant speed.

Other then that contact directly the reception before arrival if you make your booking elsewhere. We made our reservation on booking.com and the receptions told us when we arrived that the reservation was canceled by booking which was kind of strange. We could't find emails or such data on the booking account but after we denied the cancellation they gave us the same deal even thou the price had doubled at that point.
At departure we had arranged for a taxi and it was on time even thou it was very very early in the morning. Like 4 am. On other occasion during the day the taxi they called was taken by someone else, presumably .

All in all a great place to stay. I would recommend it to a friend.

Room Tip: Ask for a bit larger room on the left side where you can see the Eiffel tower. Top floors.
