This is one of the best hotels in which I've had the pleasure of staying in my travels. It is easily in my top 5 if not number 1 on my list. I would include the St. Regis in Florence, Park Hyatt Milan, Hotel Fasano São Paulo, and Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt as the others in the list.
The staff are wonderful and helpful without bring an air of pretentiousness to it all even though it is one of the world's best hotels. From check in to check out we had a great experience. We were lucky to be upgraded to one of their new executive spa suites which was phenomenal to say he least. Even the basic room, which is the bedroom portion of the suite was impressive, especially for Europe standards.
The location could not get any better, it is only about a 5 minute walk to Place de la Concorde and only 10 from the Louvre.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to splurge a bit and stay at a truly aspirational hotel. We used Hyatt passport points which afforded us the ability to stay here and I would return in a heartbeat. It would be hard to stay anywhere else when we return to Paris.More
