This hotel deserves its continual high ratings. Its about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro and a 15 minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe. Check in was seamless and the girl on the desk spoke perfect English and once we had settled into our room she gave us a map of Paris and explained where things were. The room was ideal, clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. It has electrically operated shutters to enable a good nights sleep and all the amenities you need and expect. The bathroom and shower were very good and they supply the usual toiletries plus a pump on the wall for the shower gel/shampoo. Breakfast is in a lovely restaurant with attentative staff and an excellent choice. There is also a small comfortable bar, manned by reception staff, which is very reasonably priced. We paid an excellent price for this hotel via AA Getaways who also arranged Eurostar travel. We loved Paris and will return again and when we do so it will be to the Magellan.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 3rd floor anf faced into the courtyard. Very quiet.

Breakfast to the room was unbelievably big. Normally you expect few croissants, but here it was even not possible to eat everything. And also - this breakfast is without any other fee. Beds in double room are not two connected beds, but one big bed for two. And also - there is a bath (not only shower). Ideal hotel for romantic weekend in Paris in this price level.
Personal was very kind and helpful with planning our trips to the city center. We will definitelly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Half of rooms have window to the court - so they are more quite.

Very clean, modern, comfortable and welcoming. Staff very efficient and friendly and excellent English spoken. Our bedroom had a bath and shower and very comfortable beds. Everything one could possibly ask for is available at breakfast so no doubts about recommending the Magellan as a very good deal indeed for a three star hotel. Also withinn easy walking distance of RER and Metro stations.

Room Tip: Standard throughout I think. I only sampled the 4th (of five) floor and there were no probs there

Hotel Magellan is situated in a lovely residential area within 5 minutes walk of Metro Stations, bars and restaurants. The twin bed room situated in an annexe was clean and spacious. The garden area is a bonus where you can relax and also eat breakfast. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again due to the good location, the peaceful setting, and the room size.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the annexe.

Only a 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro, 15 minutes from L'arc de Triomphe. Hotel room was clean but very small, bathroom a little tired. Bed was unfortunately uncomfortable to sleep quality was poor. We found breakfast to be very good, plenty of choice and even though we didn't make it down till 9.30 nothing had run out. Probably reasonable value for money bearing in mind how extorionately expensive Paris is. Free Wifi available. There is a good Brasserie at the end of the road. Downside is that it is a little way out of the city so not easy just to pop back to the hotel to change.

Only stayed a night back in September, but it was very good for the price. It's down a quiet little backstreet but close enough to all the action - we walked from the hotel to the Arc D'Triomphe in about 15/20 minutes.

It loses a star because the breakfast wasn't amazing. I concede that we didn't get down to the restaurant til about 9.30am but most of the food was gone and all that was left was some eggs and bread. On top of that, they didn't have any space in the restaurant so we had to wait for about 10 minutes before we got seated.

Overall a very decent stay and the beds are comfy!

Room Tip: There is an 'outbuilding' at the back of the main hotel. Not that it's ever noisy, but I...

This hotel is close enough to Champs Elysee (about 15 min walk). The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even helped us book tours. 10 min away from the metro station (Pereire).
Clean and neat.
Unfortunately the breakfast is very poor. It is made of charcuterie, cheese and croissant. Which is not enough or convenient for people who do not eat porc....
