“Ideal Place to Stay in paris”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

I booked this hotel, taking into account price, situation, close to metro, and of course Trip Advisor Rating.
We were not disappointed, the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, there was garaging to leave the car for a few days whilst we explored Paris, it was close to the Ports on the Seine where you could book a sightseeing trip on the River, there was wide choice of reasonably priced restaurants in the area, and on leaving Paris ti visit Versailles, it was only a 25 minute journey.
Rooms were not large but were very clean, quite modern, and very comfortable.
Weather was great, and it was a free weekend on all public transport.

Room Tip: We booked a standard room, but were given a free upgrade.

I booked this hotel and trip to Paris as a surprize for my Husband, it was our 30th Anniversary. We last visited Paris 33 years ago, our first holiday abroad together. He didn't know until 12 hours before that we were going away. He thought we were having a few days in London as tourists on a train! Little did he know the train was the Eurostar!
On arrival we were greeted by the wonderful staff and made to feel at home. The hotel was fantastic, lovely staff, clean and tidy rooms, A very comfy bed!! A lovely bathroom, a mini bar if required. Lovely fluffy robes to snuggle up in after a long day sightseeing. We had room 208, which didn't have a view of the Tower but with only a 5-10 minute walk to view it wasn't needed.
Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice and tastes to suit all, both hot and cold.
We were able to use the metro as it was easy to get to and took us to all the places we needed, we may have only been there for 2 nights, but we managed to see all we wanted - the tower during the day and night, when it twinkles, very romantic! Monmatre, The sacre coure, Notre Dame, The Louvre, and the Arc de triumphe.
I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
Thank you a memorable 30th Anniversary.

It may only be a three star hotel, but it definitely deserves to be more. We had an amazing five days in Paris at the end of March, and a big part of what made it so special was this hotel. The staff were very polite and friendly, and when asked they made some great recommendations for dinner, attractions and ways to see the city. We opted for a room without a view of the Eiffel Tower (our one regret) which was exactly as described, small but cosy, and very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable, the shower nice and powerful and the safe easy to use. Our room faced the road in front of the hotel, but we were never disrupted by noise.

The hotel is perfectly located between the Eiffel Tower, Seine and Les Invalides and has easy access to a number of Metro Stations. There were at least three supermarket-style shops nearby, which was good for picking up lunch when we wanted, and we were spoilt for choice for restaurants in the surrounding area (seemed to us the food got better the smaller the restaurant was). Cant comment on the breakfast (apart from that it looked very nice) as we opted to use the local patisseries which were ridiculously good.

When we come back to Paris we will be staying at this hotel again.

Room Tip: We opted for a room without a view, which was really nice, but once we arrived and realised how good...

great location, good breakfast, a very close metro station, friendly staff. prices are high- but this is Paris. Highly recommended. I returned to this hotel 3 years after my previous visit to the city and enjoyed my stay even more than last time. Many fine restaurants and cafes nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for room with view of the Eiffel tower.

Genuine Parisienne feel - not too large a hotel - so feels comfortable and friendly.

Comfortable well equipped rooms, good continental breakfast buffet. Fantastic views to the Eiffel Tower from some rooms (worth paying extra for), easy walking to local shops bars restaurants, the local Metro station (La Tour-Maubourg) as well as Les Invalides, and of course the tower.

Room Tip: Go for one on the higher floors with a view of the Eiffel Tower - they are special

I booked this for my wife and teenage daughter, unfortunately I couldn't go myself.
Check-in was painless and staff helpful. The staff also booked a comfortable shuttle transfer back to CDG for my wife at a reasonable price.
They found the room comfortable with twin beds and a pleasant balcony. It had tea & coffee making facilities and free WiFi with good signal. They didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on that aspect.
The location is, as the name suggests, close to the Eiffel Tower with views of the tower from some rooms and common areas. It's also close to the Seine and therefore the RER stations along the south bank.
I hope to book again shortly.

Perfect location for tourists. Room is small, yet cozy. View of the Eiffel Tower from our room was gorgeous... especially the light show at night. If you prefer to travel by subway, the Metro is very close by.
