We were a party of four persons on October 12, 2013. This Italian restaurant is apparently affiliated with the Astier Restaurant nearby where we had a delightful meal three days earlier, but the Sassotonda bears no comparison to the Astier in the quality of its food. One of our first courses (quail legs) was quite good, but the other choices of our party were not. Our main plats ranged from uninteresting (the spaghetti and a veal dish) to absolutely inedible in the penne pasta with clams which was seriously undercooked and prepared with nothing at all to bring flavor to the dish. Our advice? Save your money and go somewhere, anywhere else! This restaurant is overpriced and takes no responsibility when a dish is returned uneaten to the kitchen.
