Owner description: Canauxrama offers cruises on the canals of Paris, the Seine and the Marne. Sail on the Saint-Martin Canal and discover the Paris of Parisians passing under the Bastill's vault, four double locks, two swing bridges and the centenary Lift Bridge of Crimea to go to the "Parc de la Villette". For one day cruise, discover the smallest navigable of France canal: The Ourcq, with a unique entertainment: a horse will draw the boat. Or go on the Seine river that inspoired impressionists to Chatou near "la Maison Fournaise" or on the Marne River and its famous Guinguettes!

We did The Bistro Cruise at 9pm. I expected a little more than lollies and chips so make sure you have dinner before your cruise, also don,t take notice of the dress code in their video we were a little over dressed compared to the rest of the guests who were very casual.
The cruise was very good leaving from a canal and going through a lock to enter the River Seine. It was still daylight when we started but when we arrived at the Eiffel Tower it was dark and the timing was perfect, just the right time for the light show on the tower. Did a cruise in 2009 with another company and the timing was wrong for the light show.
The commentary was in all languages and was informative, got our tickets online before we left for Paris only 16 Euro . Would recommend this cruise, we were there in August.

The cruise on the St. Martin canal was very interesting. ( I have been to Paris several times and never knew about St. Martin). The cruise was too long, but there are four locks to go through, so really no way to shorten the cruise. The 6:00 cruise on the Seine was a nightmare. The cruise itself was fine, the nightmare was the children. Entirely too many, no parental supervision and the crew could of cared less about doing anything about the unruly children. So if you go for the 6:00 cruise and see lots of children rethink your plans.

We just came back from the all day Marne cruise. We departed our Bastille quay a little after 9:00 am, and returned at about 5:30 pm. Our party was us (an American couple) and our French friend. The cruise was well attended, mostly French, with some other European tourists included. We were the only Americans. There were plenty of chairs and room to roam about the boat. The extensive commentary, really a running monologue, was all in French and seemed to cover every aspect of French life and history. It would have been nice if there were some handouts in English to supplement the tour guides talk. If you take this cruise you will learn all you ever wanted to know about how river locks work. There were four of them as we motored up, first the Seine, and, then the Marne. At times we were dead in the water for an eternity waiting for our turn to enter the lock. The view from the boat was interesting. We entered the Seine and had a fine view of Notre Dame. Further east, industrial Paris was at the river bank. Turning left we passed an enormous Chinese complex - restaurant, hotel and Gallery at the confluence of the Marne and Seine. The scenery slowly turned from urban to more natural, with tidy homes, islands and boats to observe. This was the highlight of the cruise. There was ample time to eat at one of the remaining traditional river restaurants. The others said the food was mediocre. I had mussels and frites and had no complaints. All in all it was a nice day. Nothing to rave about, but, worthwhile. Not something to do if you are only in Paris for a few weeks or so (do take the Seine river cruise, most companies are fine) but, if in Paris for an extended stay, this all day cruise is not a bad way to spend a day.

Chose this boat ride based on previous reviews. We Did this the day we arrived. We took the 9pm cruise of the Seine thinking it would be darker but were surprised to see it was still daylight for 3/4 of the trip. The ride takes you past all the sites up to the Eiffel Tower and back again. Easily accessible by metro. Less crowded than the otherboats. I would recommend this activity as a must do for first timers to start out there trip. If you plan on eating before your cruise I would stay away from the restaurant right by the entrance as it is very expensive (150€ for 4 guests). The online ticket purchase from their website was very easy and convenient. Highly recommend this.
