Champs Elysees has to be the top spot to stay in Paris - upscale shopping, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Le Lourve, and literally everything in Paris seems like walkable suddenly if staying in the area. And thus this Radisson Blu which is within 2 minutes walk to the Arc and Champs Elysees Etoile metro station, acts as your perfect residence to explore the city of love and lights in the best way possible - that is a mixture of foot and metro at times.
to begin with, from the airport, if you dont want to shell an upwards of 60 euros, you can either take the Air France shuttle service or take the RER B train from Terminals to Chatelet - Les Halles station and change to RER A line to CDG - Etoile station. AF shuttle will be 15+ while the train wl take 9.5 Euros one way. From the last stops mentioned, hotel is only a 4 minute walk.
About the property, as mentioned its a boutique hotel, former corp. HQs of Louis Vuitton and thus is a historic landmark from a Parisien perspective. Building maintains the Parisien architecture abundant on almost all the buildings in the city centre. I got a room with an Arc view and it worked out great. Expansive views of the Arc and the vicinity, loved it completely.
Rooms are decently sized considering hotel's oh so perfect location. Front desk was super...Champs Elysees has to be the top spot to stay in Paris - upscale shopping, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Le Lourve, and literally everything in Paris seems like walkable suddenly if staying in the area. A great property if you want to remain in the thick and thin of all things Parisien.More
