Grand Hotel des Balcons
Ranked #592 of 1,809 Hotels in Paris
Certificate of Excellence

The hotel is located on a quiet street in a fine neighborhood, accessible by train or metro from the airport. The staff were friendly, helpful and communicating in English was not a problem. The breakfast buffet was excellent and a good value for the money. I will return to this hotel on my future trip.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms facing the street have more natural light and feel more cheerful.

Stayed for a week in April. I am not used to luxury and didn't find it here. Instead, I got good value, great service, and a wonderful location. I actually stayed in two different rooms: a single and a double. The single was actually more comfortable and quieter because it was not on the street side. The rooms are very small. clean, and get the job done. The bathrooms are functional and clean. I did not eat the breakfasts (not included) but heard that they were large (12E cost). The front desk was helpful and their English is good. The location is terrific -- a short walk to the metro and with lots of sights within a short walk.

Room Tip: If you need a quiet night's rest, ask for a room not on the street side.

This small hotel has great service and was very comfortable. I was traveling with my brother and the double room was basically a small room with two small twin beds, but they were clean and very comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor, Room 206 (which is the 3rd floor in US) and with the window closed we hardly heard any street noise. The hotel is within walking distance of Notre Dame and there are several nice restaurants and shopping nearby. We only stayed one night, but I would definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Paris.

We stayed 3 night in April, two doble rooms at 3rd floor. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. The lift is very small, but this is quite typical in Paris, expecially in the smallest hotel. Even if the rooms were on the street side, they were quite calm, maybe due to the high floor.

The hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood, it is clean and quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. the room was of course small, but given the price it is not bad. Breakfast surprisingly good. Wifi works fine. The hotel is all I am looking for and a bit more, so I will definitely return.

Great hotel in a charming area and Close to transportation in the City (metro) as well as RER to charles de gaule airport. The lift is very small but it works. Also the room we had this time was small but we have previously had big rooms so they do exist. My husband I have there Many times and Will definately be back.

stayed three nights mid-April weekend, room 306 (?) good view out to Odeon. Room is small typical in the range, beds are super clean white, comfortable. Wi-Fi fine.Breakfast buffet is great value (we tried both in-house and nearby). Hotel is on a one-way narrow street, not too much traffic going. walking to RER train, metro in 5-15 min max. will definitely return next time in Paris.
