“pleasant stay”

For Paris standards and the price this was a great hotel.
It was nicely decorated a good bed and very clean.
Our deluxe room had a awesome bathroom.
We had a separate toilet :) missed there a a little bin though.
A must say this will not be a hotel for over-wait people it is an old building sometimes a bit small.
The people a the desk were very helpful and spoke good English.
The artisant breakfast? for me it was normal and good.

Room Tip: The deluxe room had a stair to go the bathroom . the toilet was on sleeping level

Why it is bad hotel? (1) I had a shower, and water was going out of the shower doors, half of the room was wet after I go out of the shower. I told this to hotel reception, they could change my room if the problem was with the shower doors of my room, but they did not do it. I hate having shower during my stay for 4 nights. (2) I asked for a one empty table. They told that you can come to reception and you can take by yourself. What kind of a hotel service! (3) The price is much more than it deserves, if I was paying 40 Euro, I was going to tell OK for these problems, but I stayed in a double room and I paid 128 Euros for night (4) The windows of many room do not look at the outside of the building. They just look other rooms. You are not able to open the window. You don't see the sun in the morning. How they can ask 128 Euro for that terrible room. (5) Only good thing was one of the lady working in the reception of the hotel. She was always smiling and calm. Hotel gets 1 point for that lady, otherwise hotel deserves 0 point. Normally I could expect to pay at least half of my money back!

Bonjour

The kind of hotel that makes me wonder about the rating system! Maybe they got their 3 stars by averaging 2 for the hotel and 4 for the price?!!! If you decide to give it a try, make sure you don't get the room which is just behind the reception; this one should be used as storage only.

Hotel is set in a quiet & safe area of Paris and all the major attractions are accessible to visitors on foot, by Metro or by bus. The neighbourhood has plenty of eateries close by catering for all palates & wallets. The reception staff we met were all fluent English speakers & were extremely helpful & knowledgeable…. taking time to research a sports bar for us where we might be able to watch a night-time Rugby match and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Our room was cleaned efficiently every day and the chamber maids were helpful & thorough. For the Brits who might expect a kettle & brew making facilities I would suggest you take a travelling kettle and tea bags/ coffee as it is not the French way to provide such things in a standard room. Our room had a Jungle theme and was a little gloomy with not much lighting although, in fairness, it might be much to do with the time of year & inclement weather. The bathroom was clean, very warm and with a bath & powerful shower. I felt that we got what we paid for and was well pleased with all aspects of the hotel especially the location and the staff. We did not eat there or use the bar so I cannot judge those facilities but would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

Room Tip: Take your own travel kettle etc.

My wife and I stayed here one night while waiting to get into our favorite Paris hotel. The price was considerably higher, so we looked forward to staying in a more upscale hotel. We were disappointed. The hotel was comfortable. But compared with our favorite, our room was slightly smaller, the reception area was much worse, the lift was part way down a long narrow hallway and up a short flight of stairs. The interior stairs were narrow and one light bulb was out, so it was dark. My wife liked the room decoration, all pink with toile patterned curtains, I prefer a simple, more modern look. The room was quiet, and we could open our windows for fresh air. The bath had a shower/tub combination. The hotel is located a short walk from the Pereire Metro stop and a slightly longer walk to the Porte Maillot Metro stop in the 17th arrondissement. Over all we paid 75% more for a less comfortable stay. We do not plan on returning.

I spent 7 nights in this hotel on a business trip. It is a little more expensive than the average tourist hotel but is also in a very good area. You can walk to the Champs Elysee if you have 20 minutes and it is also 5 minutes away from two Metro stations. The hotel is also on a quiet street with a beautiful park down the middle of the street with play areas for children. Continental breakfast was adequate and croissants always fresh. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. I certainly would recommend this hotel.

My girlfriend and I wanted a nice room in Paris for three nights and that's exactly what we got. We got a great price directly through their website and we were very pleased with our room. While the room was small by normal hotel standards, it was very spacious by Paris standards. It was clean and comfortable and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. While it is not near most tourist activities, the area is quite charming and there is a Metro, RER, and many buses very close and you can get wherever you need to go quickly.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cute and affordable room in Paris that doesn't mind being away from all of the action (but not too far).
