My wife and I were really impressed with our recent stay. The room was very well appointed if a little cozy, but that's to be expected from such a central spot (5 min walk to the Louvre and 10 mins to the Pompidou centre). The room was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. The reception staff bent over backwards to help, which included recommending (and then reserving) local restaurants. Have since recommended it to friends and family.

It is a very nice and warm hotel with interesting details and design in the lobby. We stayed in a very orange room on the top floor. It was kind of small, but ok, and with a good size bathroom. The street is very quiet during the night, but there was a very noisy aircon (not ours) or some sort of heater starting every now and then, and continuing to run for several hours - for the same reason we never made it in time for breakfast –but that doesn’t mind anything in Paris, where there is numerous boulangers to get fresh bread and a coffee from.
The staff was very friendly and helpful – and they speak very good English. WiFi connection is stable and quite fast.

Room Tip: There are only 4 rooms on each floor - and I would recommend gettting a room facing the street !

Whenever we go back to Paris, this will be the hotel we stay in again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really loved the atmosphere and the interior design of the hotel. It's located in a neighbourhood full of boutiques and restaurants, in the shadow of the Louvre. Highly recommended for couples who are looking for a romantic weekend in Paris.

Room Tip: We slept in the 303, which was quite a small room. The staff had informed us about the room being sm...

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. The Hotel is in a great location only a few minutes’ walk from the Louvre but on a really quite street with lots of good local bistros nearby. Also, close to several metro stations and the RER and in walking distance of many of the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They speak good English and didn’t mind our attempts at terrible French. They are two breakfast options, the express version served in an area just off reception and a full buffet in the basement breakfast room. Although the breakfast room is very small with no natural light it is nicely decorated. Breakfast is a cold buffet but there lots on offer from cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and fruit salad, cold meats and cheese, bread, croissants, pastries etc with as much tea and coffee as you want. We had room 604 in the attic. It is quite small but again nicely decorated and furnished with just about everything you need. The shower room was small but bright and with modern fittings. Our friends stayed in room 603 which had a very sloping roof – you don’t want this room if you are tall! The bed and duvet was incredibly comfy and cosy. It’s a shame there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but they did provide bottled water in the room and there is an honesty bar in reception where you can get cold drinks and make tea and coffee. The lift is a bit noisy which can’t be helped in an old building like this but as the hotel is quite small it’s not as if the lift is going constantly. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Paris.

Everything's tiny, but the room was comfortable and clean, the front desk very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was great. We enjoy meandering (ie, getting lost on foot) when we travel, so it was fun to wander the streets and alleys around the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Crayon from 27th to 30th March in a single room. I booked based on the many positive reviews I read about on tripadvisor. For a single room, I was expecting a hole however it was of a fairly good size for one person. The bed was bigger than that of a single bed and the bathroom was of a good size. Considering this is Paris, I was satisfied with the room size.
The hotel and room are painted in positive vibrant colours. The most important aspects were the utter cleanliness of the hotel. My room and bathroom were spick and span every day. Toiletries and towels were replenished every single day. Bfast was ample and the lady who manages the bfast was delightful! The staff were absolutely great - especially Didier and Melodie. Location is close to several metro stations and the general neighbourhood is full of life. When I return to Paris, I will def book myself again at Hotel Crayon. Merci! J.A.

My wife and I booked this hotel due to the excellent reviews it had had recieved and it did not disappoint. The location was that central we did not use the metro or any cabs on our whole stay! The staff were curtious and couldn't do enough for us and the rooms were really well presented in funky colours. The hotel itself had a style off its own and was a pleasure to stay in. We won't hesitate to book when we return. Thank you to all at Hotel Crayon
