We chose this hotel for it's good location and because we had been impressed with our previous stay. Couldn't believe how shabby and grubby the place had become. The room we had was very small. Although neither of us is big we struggled with the bathroom size and the shower was a nightmare. You had barely any space to move. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. We especially liked the friendly attitude of the three reception staff but the breakfast staff were not very attentive. The tables were very small and staff didn't remove cups and plates when they were finished with. The hotel's location is great as there are 3 metro stations very close by as is the Montparnasse tower which offers fantastic views of Paris.

Room Tip: avoid small rooms on 2nd floor (room 25)

I stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse for 3 nights in August. This hotel was recommended to me by a colleague at work. I am so glad I followed this recommendation. If you want a traditional Parisienne experience, then this hotel is for you. We stayed in a junior suite, with balcony, on the 5th floor. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel staff are outstanding, So nice and extremely helpful. We tackled the Metro to get around Paris everyday, and had no problem getting to and from our destinations with the directions we were given by the hotel staff. Breakfast was fantastique! Lots to choose from, music playing softly in the background. It doesn't get much better than this! The hotel is easy to reach on line 4 from Paris L'est. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! A great big thank you goes out to all staff. Our stay was a wonderful, memorable experience!

Room Tip: We loved our junior suite with balcony on the 5th floor! Room 54.

The hotel is located in a less touristy area, but made us feel like we were locals in the beautiful city of Paris. The hotel is a cute boutique style hotel. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful and helped us tremendously with directions and advice on daily activities. The elevator is tiny and the rooms are very small, but apparently most rooms in Paris are small. We stayed in a club double room which I thought would be bigger but it was still a small room that barely fit our luggage. The rooms were very clean; the bathroom was clean and modern looking. The hotel is also close to the metro (3 minute walk). For the price, it was worth it.

This was an excellent hotel in Montparnasse. Service was outstanding, the staff at the front desk were friendly, attentive and had great recommendations.
The location was great with it being close to some superb restaurants and a number of Metro lines and stations.

A decent, small, boutique hotel conveniently located in the Montparnasse area.

Room 34 is on small side; bathroom commode faces into door; if you happen to be tall, sitting sideways is best option. Shower is quite narrow & there are no 'nooks' to hold soap, etc.
On another note, shower shows 'grout' in need of good cleaning; mold in crevices.

On the upside, we found the bed to be firm & comfortable. Room 34 faces on to the street and we were awakened early morning by trucks (probably delivery) - nights hosted restaurant crowd which could be heard, but we didn't mind as much. If quite is what you seek, ask for a courtside room. WIFi worked fine. We didn't breakfast in hotel, there are two great boulangeries on either end of Rue de lambre with wonderful breads and pasteries - oh and there is a Starbucks on Blvd. Montparnasse.
Metro stops located on either end of street; Vavin #4 very convenient as is Edgar Quinet #6 .
Hotel staff very well versed in best ways to get you to your destination.

Tourist sites; we were fortunate to visit Paris in beginning of the month; first Sundays, Louvre, O'rsay are free. Note: before leaving on trip we booked the Eiffel Tower through Viator website & this worked great for us - cost for two: approx. $107.

Le Bon Marche (Metro #12- stop: Sevres Babyelone) great store & on 3rd fl Money Exchange / good rate. Parisbytrain.com website where you can copy readable map of Metro system.

This hotel got our little get away off to a great start. Initially due to the fact that even at 5am in the morning the hotels destination in montparnasse seemed safe and pleasant a far cry from previous trips to London. There was not one point at any time of day during this trip that the classy area that Lenox is situated in montparnasse failed to please, and instantly felt like home.

Being then at 6am (a time when most staff are far from friendly) we were greeted by a very friendly and genuine member of staff who spoke fantastic english greeting us, taking our bags and giving us maps and everything we needed for our stay, he even managed to change our room and give us an extra half a day in the hotel as we arrived so far before our check in time. Initially we thought this was a one off and we got lucky with this member of staff however we were delighted when throughout our stay we found that this was the case with every member of staff. I honestly can not praise the staff at this hotel enough they were truly outstanding.

When we got to our room again we were pleasantly surprised, although relatively small the bathroom was large and the bed was extremely comfortable and considering we were in the heart of paris we thought the quality of the room was brilliant, shower pressure and storage space was also great with a good view from the large windows onto a fountain in a quiet courtyard.

As stated previously the location of the hotel was great with regard to feeling safe and pleasant. It was also very good with regard to being within walking distance of most tourist landmarks but if you didn't bring your walking shoes it is also within 50 metres of the metro or rentable bikes.

All in all this hotel deserves the highest rating possible especially considering the fact that I received a discounted rate on rooms through a late booking site. The staff truly did make this trip very enjoyable and deserve every bit of praise they get!

A fantastic trip 5 stars!!!!!

We had a lovely two nights there, really great, friendly service, air conditioning on a hot Paris weekend. Rooms of modest size but adequate and typical for Paris. Boutique style. Nice honesty bar. Convenient location - would definitely recommend!
