“A Beautiful place with OUTSTANDING Service”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

This hotel got our little get away off to a great start. Initially due to the fact that even at 5am in the morning the hotels destination in montparnasse seemed safe and pleasant a far cry from previous trips to London. There was not one point at any time of day during this trip that the classy area that Lenox is situated in montparnasse failed to please, and instantly felt like home.

Being then at 6am (a time when most staff are far from friendly) we were greeted by a very friendly and genuine member of staff who spoke fantastic english greeting us, taking our bags and giving us maps and everything we needed for our stay, he even managed to change our room and give us an extra half a day in the hotel as we arrived so far before our check in time. Initially we thought this was a one off and we got lucky with this member of staff however we were delighted when throughout our stay we found that this was the case with every member of staff. I honestly can not praise the staff at this hotel enough they were truly outstanding.

When we got to our room again we were pleasantly surprised, although relatively small the bathroom was large and the bed was extremely comfortable and considering we were in the heart of paris we thought the quality of the room was brilliant, shower pressure and storage space was also great with a good view from the large windows onto a fountain in a quiet courtyard.

As stated previously the location of the hotel was great with regard to feeling safe and pleasant. It was also very good with regard to being within walking distance of most tourist landmarks but if you didn't bring your walking shoes it is also within 50 metres of the metro or rentable bikes.

All in all this hotel deserves the highest rating possible especially considering the fact that I received a discounted rate on rooms through a late booking site. The staff truly did make this trip very enjoyable and deserve every bit of praise they get!

A fantastic trip 5 stars!!!!!

We had a lovely two nights there, really great, friendly service, air conditioning on a hot Paris weekend. Rooms of modest size but adequate and typical for Paris. Boutique style. Nice honesty bar. Convenient location - would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Lenox from August 7 through August 10 2013, and it was amazing. Great location... Walking distance to Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower if you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk, or there are several different Metro stops very close to the hotel if you prefer. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and they all spoke several languages including English. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms for two nights on the courtyard side, and a junior suite on the street side for one night, and they were both very attractive rooms, clean and well set up, with very comfortable beds. Can't say enough good things about this hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms on the courtyard side are a little quieter, but the street noise wasn't bad when we stayed...

A truely wonderful boutique hotel tucked away on a quite street in the heart of Montparnasse close to an abundance of fabulous restaurants, bakeries, cafes and the wonderful Amorino ice-cream cafe. The location is great, close to two metro lines, the closest is Vavin (Line4), followed by Edgar-Quinet (Line6) with both having service to all area's of Paris & the tourist stops.
The room was really very comfortable, clean, quite throughout the night, even though we were located to the front of the building. The air-conditioning was terrific, especially on the warm summers night. The room had a mini fridge, great to keep water, etc.. The rooms are small but expected for Paris & we found there was ample space for a week's break and would not deter us from staying again.
The multi-lingual staff at the front-desk were wonderful, extremely friendly, helpful and a true credit to the hotel. We would have awarded 5 stars, however the breakfast was expensive for a continental breakfast.
Overall we were extremely happy with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will return ourselves in the very near future. ****/*****

If you are looking to stay at a smaller hotel in Paris in a quieter area, this hotel is a good choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast, unlike other hotels we have stayed in, was not free, which was disappointing based on the rate. Their lounge and "honesty bar" were a nice touch and a comfortable place to go when not in the room. Overall, our stay at Lenox Montparnasse was very nice!

Booked this hotel for a romantic Parisian get away and it was perfect for what we wanted. Room was cosy, but when inside there was enough space for everything, so can't complain. Staff for so helpful and hotel was very pretty. Breakfast was too expensive for us (on a tight budget) but either side of the hotel there were bakeries which was very pleasant. Hotel was only a 2 minute walk away from 2 metro stations, one took you straight to Eiffel Tower so if was ideal. Whole stay was perfect, couldn't fault it and would most definitely recommend!

We booked this hotel well in advance, and were pleasantly suprised to find out we had been upgraded to a club room on check in. All of the staff were extremely helpful, and could speak very good English. The room was clean and tidy, although it did have a few stains on the carpet. The bathroom looked like it needed a bit of maintenance, nothing major though. Pretty good location, with access to multiple tube stations. Breakfast was too expensive, but there were many supermarkets and bakeries nearby. Would stay again.
