We stayed three nights in room 43 (?) and although the room was basically clean and the bathroom was spacious- I think this hotel is a bit overrated. The room's decor was consistented of depressing dark, scuffed maroon colored wallpaper and dark cutains. The "balcony" was not big enough to do anything except step out on. The bathroom was light and large- very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly - unlike many of the other Parisians we encountered. The hotel was conveniently located to two Metros and had anything you could ask for (supermarket, restaurants, creperies, shops) all within a block or two. Much more of a local feel to the hotel than other parts of Paris. One major problem was the thin walls. We could hear our upstairs neighbor and their very noisy child well past midnight. Again, the best features of this hotel were the extremely friendly staff, the local feel, and the convenience of transportaion options. If you can afford a bit more per room, keep searching- I think there may be better options for your money.

A conveniently located and priced hotel which is around 20mins from 'Gare du Nord' metro (Eurostar and SNCF rail links) to 'Vavin' Metro Station then a 3 to 4 minutes walk to the Lenox. On arrival the staff were very courteous, pleasant and everything explained clearly. Although the room was a tad small but still good . The area of Montparnasse had lots of nice restaurants and bars to choose from, especially along 'Boulevard Raspail' and side streets.
Also there's a supermarket and a 'Nicolas' wine shop yards away.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I'd definately come back again.

When we arrived to the hotel we were greeted warmly. The staff spoke English which was a big help. The hotel was charming, we were upgraded to a balcony room. The room had everything we've grown to expect and overlooked a nice courtyard.
The hotel was so close to the metro, terrific bakeries, restaurants and a cute little school. We loved our stay in this beautiful hotel.

Room Tip: Stay several nights for a discounted rate.

The Lenox Montparnasse is a delightful hotel:...full of charm with a great staff! Two Metro stations were right around the corner which made navigating Paris a breeze! You can also find anything you want right on the same street as the hotel. I'm definitely planning on going back to Paris and when I do I'll be staying at the Lenox Montparnasse! No doubt there is bigger, better, and fancier hotels in Paris, but for sheer charm, convenience and a damn good time, you can't beat the Lenox Montparnasse!

Room Tip: ...book early!

We recently stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse and had a wonderul time. The hotel location and facilities were great. Instead of staying in a traditional North American type of hotel we thought we would try a Parisian style of hotel. The location was amazing. It is 1 minute away from the Vavin subway and 2 minutes from the Edgar Quinet stop. It was also a very short walk to the Jardins de Luxembourg, the catacombs and wasn't far from the Left Bank, Germain des Pres and Notre Dame if you are up for a walk. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms were more than adequate even though we didn't spend a lot of time in it at all. The restaurants and shops in the area were also superb.

I fished around looking at lots of hotels and after checking reviews here I decided to take the plunge and book with Lenox Mantraparnasse for 4th March 2011.

Ok lets get to it the service is extremely high, the staff at the front desk are willing to help as much as they can to make you enjoy your stay. (My girlfriend needed to dry clean her dress and they pointed us to the two shops availiable within walking distance)

The rooms are quite small but they are clean and have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Free TV Internet and movies was bouns as well as the super comfy beds. (I had a great nights sleep)

In regards to the location its also great, lots of shops, bars, restaurants, grocery stores all within walking distance as well as two metro station within walking distance.

The best thing about this hotel is the Honesty bar but you need to book and stay here to find out more.

My girlfriend is quite fussy when it comes to staying in other places and she loved it and loved her Birthday in Paris.
