Grabbed a couple of days in Paris to help alleviate the jet lag. This hotel, out in the 19th is a nice simple hotel in the Ibis Styles range. The decor is fresh and fun, the rooms are small but adequate for a sort stay, the proximity to the metro is perfect and the ability to stay in a more “real” part of Paris is nice. Breakfast is simple coffee & croissants but beautifully baked, there are many cafes and bars just around the corner, there is even a laundromat a couple of hundred meters away. Staff were lovely and the ambience nice. On the down side, this is categorically not a hotel for anyone with a physical disability as access is up some steep stairs and the internal hotel lift is minuscule.
The rooms at the front would be noisy at night but the air con is excellent so you don’t need to have your window open. The rooms at the back open into a large backlot behind several apartment blocks so are nice and quite if fresh air really is your forte. Overall this is an Ibis, so don’t expect luxury or lavish rooms. However, as an Ibis it does the job really well and as a base to visit Paris I would have no hesitation in recommending it.More
