My husband and I chose this hotel based on the reviews of people who had recently stayed here. We took the Metro from CDG Airport (if we can work it out trust me anyone can!) Our welcome at the hotel was so friendly but not over bearing! Staff were very gracious and friendly and offered assistance when we needed it. My husband and I came and went as we pleased the hotel is in a perfect destination a 5 -10 min stroll from the Eiffel Tower and surrounding bistros/ cafes and bars. If you like your walking like my husband and I do you can walk to the Arc de Triomphe & Champs Elysees. We jumped on one of the boat tours to visit the Latin Quarter and surrounding areas which are popular with tourists. So many different ways to get around and al easily accessible and user friendly!
The area the hotel is situated is lovely (Metro station literally across the road!) The area is not too quiet that you feel out of it but its not 1000 miles an hour you feel stressed out. I love city centres and out of all the ones I have visited Paris has to be my favourite. Our hotel room was cute and clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the hotel theme - which is very romantic and girly French chic! The bathroom was fab powerful shower and spacious bath tub! Big wardrobe with plenty of hangers, robes in the bathroom and plenty of fluffy towels which were changed on a daily basis & the bed was so comfy!
We had a fantastic wedding anniversary here and we will stay here again when we next visit.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we wanted to explore Paris and eat out in neighbouring cafe's and bakery's which was lovely. I cannot fault this hotel in anyway perfect for couples of any age whether its your first or tenth visit to Paris this hotel is wonderful.
The only reason why I marked the sleep quality down is because on our last night the person in the room above us was walking around their room which was causing loud creaks and noises in our ceiling!

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and well decorated and staff friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat nearby and Eifel Tower a10-15 min wall. Metro station just across the road and although you can hear faint rumble as train pass underground its not annoying.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. My wife and I only had 4 days in Paris, but thanks to the PERFECT location of this hotel, and its proximity to the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee, we saw everything we wanted to see and more. There is a metro stop literally right across the street from this place, so if there are a few things on your to-do list that aren't within walking distance, you can pay around 4 euro and go anywhere you need to go by just walking across the street.

The staff at the reception desk even gave us an outlet adapter because we forgot to get one before we went. They helped us locate certain attractions, and gave us information regarding a shuttle back to the airport before we left.

Although we didn't spend much time in the hotel, the accommodations were always clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was a little pricey, but they made us fantastic omelettes and had a generous variety of breakfast foods, tea, and coffee.

Just for your reference, Both the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysee are about 15 minutes walking. The Louvre was about a 25-30 minute walk, and Les Invalides is 5 minutes, right down the street.

Thank you for a wonderful 4 days--the next time we come back, we'll definitely be staying at the same place, and we'll be recommending this hotel to anyone thinking about going to paris.

--Matt and Monika

Room Tip: We took the Purple and Gold room based on the photos online. It was quiet, and overlooked the street. We didn't spend much time in the actual hotel, but everything was lovely and the bed was comfortable and clean.

One of the best value for the money among the hotels I've stayed in Paris. It is conveniently located across from the metro and you can walk to many places. There is a nice market you can walk to in 5 mintues, it felt very parisian to buy our lunch there, fresh cheese, bread, macarons, etc. Just ask the front desk for direction. The service was very good. They kept our luggage, helped us reserve a ride to the airport, etc. The room was a very good size, and the fresh flower in the bathroom was a nice touch! will definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Hotel Latour Maubourg for 2 nights at the start of July 2013. We booked an Empire Room and ended up in room #2 - Eugenie. The rooms was very spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, television, mini-bar, table and chairs, and desk. Temperatures were hitting 28 degrees C in Paris and the room was always lovely and cool with the air conditioning.
The bathroom was luxuriously decorated, with a beautiful roll-top bath. This, however, caused a slight problem when showering, as the bath was not sealed to the wall meaning water would run down the wall, soaking the floor tiles and bath mat. A tiny issue however.

Staff were all friendly and spoke good English - certainly better than my French! -and were happy to hold on to our luggage both when we arrived early for check-in, and also at check-out. There is a laptop downstairs connected to wi-fi, and the rooms have free wi-fi connectivity.

The location is perfect, literally across the street from the Metro, and 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, Invalides and the impressive Pont Alexandre III. There are a few nice restaurants 2 or 3 doors away, as well as a small supermarket in the next street.
