“Hotel Keppler: C'est Chic!”
Reviewed October 24, 2011

It's very hard to not repeat what's already been written, but I was truly surprised at how pleasant the Hotel Keppler was. I would definitely state that this charming boutique hotel was actually one of the few highlights of our stay in Paris, and I we wouldn't hesitate to return to this establishment.

We took the Executive room and I don't think I can fault it. Yes, it's still a bit small, but ALL hotel rooms in Paris are small unless you're staying in a new modern building.  Certainly you can only have 1 person in the bathroom at a time, but it's still well designed and I loved the shiny black soft PVC (?) walls.

What did stand out for us was the charming young handsome Frenchman on the front desk who took time marking up maps and finding addresses for our rather specific itinerary.

And I also think a big credit must go to the charming Asian couple who run the breakfast room. Absolutely loved going to, and lingering over, breakfast. A great start to the day, and no rushing or being kicked out early. Many hotels could learn from their attitude.

The hotel has been awarded a 4 star rating - and that's an honest rating. But in my opinion it gets 5 out of 5 for providing an excellent 4 star rated hotel - and it certainly beats many a 5 star rated property we've stayed at.

All in all, how very refreshing to find a unique boutique hotel that surpasses expectations.

Room Tip: go as big as possible - if you can afford it.

The hotel is very well located a couple of blocks from the Champs Elyses and George V. Close to the arch de triumph. The staff was very helpful. Simon was great in the lobby tending to drinks for us. The rooms were nice but very small. One thing I did not like was the half glass divider in the shower tub combo. Water spilled onto the floor every shower. However the room was comfortable. No international outlets either. We loved the value however.

My husband took me here for my birthday, which prompted a room upgrade in this wonderful little gem. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay personal and memorable. We will definitely return next time we are in Paris. Thank you, Hotel Keppler staff, all of you!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Keppler for four nights, the stay kicked off a 2.5 week trip through Europe and we found it to be a fantastic start. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff. Beautiful warm lobby, very comfortable, first impressions were great. Our room was not yet ready which was fine, we were also offered a upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. We were offered breakfast, which we accepted and we were escorted downstairs to the breakfast room. Staff there was also welcoming, selections were fantastic and food was very good. When done we were introduced to our room. We found it to be very comfortable and bright. Nice amenities (Hermes), robes slippers, etc. Location for us was also very good. First night we walked to and strolled the Seine, and Tour Eiffel. Very close to all major Metro stations.

To summarize we found Hotel Keppler to be comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. Highly recommend. BTW we stayed at Jay's the last visit which is also highly recommended on trip advisor. We saw the biggest difference being the size of the room, which lets face it for a couple is not a big deal, at least for us. And we saved $$.

We arrived at the Keppler and were greeted in a warm, friendly manner. The porter showed us up to our room which was a standard double, although it was a kingsize bed. Although the room may have been on the small side it was cosy, stylish with quality furnishings and contained everything we may have possibly needed. The attention to detail was superb. Plenty of coat hangars, full length mirror, toiletries, shoe cleaning, bath robes, mini bar, proper hairdryer the list goes on. The bathroom was well thought out and a bigger than average size with a shower cubicle as well as a full size bath.
Breakfast was buffet style and again lacked for nothing. A definite revisit on the cards.

Our family, (my husband and three boys) stayed in their gorgeous 2 bedroom/two bath penthouse suite. While there was no balcony in room 602, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have proper down time (and still great views). The linens and bed were amazing, the bathrooms very clean and roomy, the service was fabulous, breakfast (not included for the adults) delish - get the hot chocolate for the kids, and we had just the right amount of walking from the metro. This is a great hotel for the kids but I can also say that it would also be lovely for just adults. I have stayed at other Hotels in Paris but really want to return to the Keppler. Good job and thank you for such a nice experience. I will say for the money you are better off with the 2 bed/2bath at the Keppler instead of the George 5 or the Bristol, Ritz etc. Did I mention quiet?

Room Tip: Our friend that stayed next to us in room 601 had a terrace and there was nothing nicer than that gl...

I have been to Paris many times, and tried this hotel out because I had friends staying there. This hotel is BY FAR the BEST hotel in Paris, expecially for the price. The service at this hotel is over the top, the rooms are fantastic (try room 601). You are close to the Metro, Champs Elysees and luxury shopping. I highly recommend this hotel over all others in this price range.
