“Love their nata!!!”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

My first time in this little store... no advertising, but the word is circulating pretty fast!
This place sells nata cakes... these little round egg-flan-like pies that you can find in Lisboa.

For the first time, I just wanted to taste one... checking on the quality and taste (having fallen in love with these cakes/pies in Lisbon last year). I had the chance to get one still warm from baking (or maybe they keep them warm) and it was great! The taste is not exactly like I remembered, but it was really good, flavor full and tasty.

The natas are prepared with caution and you are going for a treat! the quality justifies the 2€ by piece. The person serving the natas (I assumed was also the owner) is Portuguese and was very friendly, knowledgeable about Portugal bakeries and reminded me of Lisbon even more :)

I ended up leaving with a box of 6 pieces... and I savored each one of these with my friends :)

“Excellent at what they do”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This shop is here to provide a sample of delicious Portuguese custard tarts, or pasteis de nata. They are a wonderful delicacy you must try. They have a small selection of Portuguese products for sale, but I understand that they will be expanding this portion of their business. Be prepared to stand in line for a while, there is no room inside the shop for a crowd or even to sit and enjoy your pasteis. Chances are you will get one that is fresh from the oven and still warm, because they fly out of the store as quickly as they are made!

“Small Portuguese tarts. That's it.”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

This little hole in the wall sells small Portuguese tarts which essentially consist of custard. Note that there is NO seating inside, so plan just buy your tarts to go.

“Perfect little Natas to take away”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

This is a tiny storefront in the Marais selling these perfect little Portuguese tarts. We were so lucky to catch them still warm. Outstanding. A few doors up from Pozzetto. .

“Delicious custard tart and espresso”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

If you're walking down rue Vieille du Temple, then you must stop here for a little warm crispy Portuguese custard tart and espresso shot. Each mouthful is bursting with flavour.
