Out of all our accommodation in Italy and Paris this was the worst. Great location but that was all. I work for travel and would not recommend this hotel. Needs a good clean. Breakfast was poor not much to choose from. The littlest lift I have ever seen. First night sleep there was a hole in dona cover ask for them to change and was told I would have to wait to next as there was no there to do it. It finally got changed with me helping to make bed. Service was good the rooms seem a lot bigger in the picture. We also got charges or a cuppa tea which I made at night which was a bit poor. So no I would not recommend this hotel. There is a lot cleaner place around this area

Dear Mrs Stanley,
We are very surprised and sad because your review does not reflect the general opinion.
We improved our breakfast offer last spring in term of quality
I would like to precise that you can find the following products : Tea (darjeeling, earl gray, green tea, lipton yellow), coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, multivitamin juice, water, bread (5 types of bread including toasts), pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat), fruit salad, fresh white cheese, two cakes, biscuits, toast, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit (banana, orange, apple, pear ...), 3 types of cheese, ham and salami, tomatoes according to the season, organic fruit jams (strawberry, apricot, blueberry), honey, Nutella, mustard, ketchup, cold milk, hot milk, cereals (cornflakes, muesli, choco pops), prunes, dates, pickles.
Our elevator is small because it was built in the middle of the twentieth century in the staircase, as in many buildings in the center of Paris.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our house.

Best regards,

Christophe THOMAS

Staying in a big and very touristy city such as Paris can be quite daunting, with so so many hotels to choose from, especially after you hear all the stories and the like. But I think now with the internet you can do excellent research in advance and make sure you get a good deal and good value. So trust the review of this hotel.

This hotel in Paris was excellent. Service at the front desk was very friendly and professional (multilingual also), rooms are refurbished, modern-looking, quite large and very comfortable – also with good fast Internet. I didn’t have the breakfast so can not comment on this.

Of course location very much depends on what you are seeking. We wanted to stay close to Cadet Metro, so this hotel was perfect. Actually this area is very nice; quite central and not too far from some nice areas with funky and groovy bars near and around Grand Boulevards, as well as Pigalle in the other direction.

Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay there again, and in fact am soon!

How nice to read your review. Thank you. It is important for us to read that you enjoyed our helpful staff and the comfort of our rooms
We indeed have a good location 2 minutes away from Cadet metro Station (Line 7) and a-10 minute walk to Gare du Nord (North Station). Close to the hotel: supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, and many other commodities.
We hope to welcome you again for your next trip to Paris.

Good size rooms including bathroom.Free Wifi available that worked well however no tea or coffee making in the room but available from reception for a price.
Whilst it is some distance from the main attractions taxi fares were a maximum 20 € to the Eiffel Tower , the furthest point .Metro prices were a €6.40.Taxi to the Moulin Rouge only €10 .
Staff were excellent with good English.Typical continental breakfast with the room just adequate in size for the purpose.Good choice of pubs and cafes within 10 minutes walking
Be careful at the Gare du Nord Station nearby as the "head" of the taxi line wanted to charge €100 to take us to the hotel when we knew it was only a little more than 1km which we walked easily

Room Tip: All rooms similar and start on floor 1

We stayed for 3 days only and would return to this hotel without question. The color scheme is what was appealing at first but once you get to the hotel you'll see more to make it your "go to" place while in Paris. We booked a triple room for my sister and myself and my 10 year old daughter. This was her 10th birthday present. We booked it with breakfast included.

Neighbourhood:

2 minutes walk from CADET subway stop. Close to cafes, brasserie's, grocery shopping, and a bank. Felt safe in the evenings. We found the prices of food/beverages further away from the major attractions quite steep, save yourself money on hotels and food by staying at this hotel.

Rooms:
Super cute, comfortable beds, bedding, air conditioning and bathroom facilities (bring your own shampoo and conditioner). Nice breeze and fresh air when you opened the windows. We arranged a bottle of wine in our room - great start to our Paris portion of our vacation! We were in room 213. The cute little elevator was fit for 3 people MAX or 2 people with very small luggage!

Staff & Hotel:
Very friendly bilingual staff. Very helpful. Eating area was a little warm but a quaint start with a full breakfast. It would have been great to get a latte or cappuchino but the brewed coffee was great. Free internet throughout the entire hotel!!!

Room Tip: We were given a street view room, did not get to see an inner courtyard view. There wasn't much...

We loved staying at this hotel, the rooms have all been renovated. The rooms were clean , we had a big bathroom. It is trully four star accommodation. We had wifi. There was one of the hotel staff GERADO , every night he would assist us with how to travel to our destinations the next days , he would get out the map and draw all different options for us. He also booked us a shuttle to the airport to save us money on a cab. Will define try stay here again. This hotel is located walking distance from the Opera.

Perfect location for this charming hotel. Rooms are just as described and look just like the pictures online - which was great. 2 blocks away from Cadet metro station and 15 minutes walking distance from the Opera and department stores. Staff in hotel very helpful and rooms super clean. Breakfast buffet had good selection. Couldn't have asked for a better accommodation. Would definitely stay here again.
