We arrived at the hotel where we were greeted at reception. They were extremely polite and helpful. The gentlemen took time to show us a map of the surrounding area, the highlights of Paris that we must see and the best ways to get to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomph....etc which we found very beneficial as this was our first time in Paris. He told us we had been given an upgrade to a newly refurbished room on the 1st floor.

As we walked into the room we couldn't believe how fantastic it was! Decent size with lovely decor and air conditioning. (Which was needed after the heat in Paris throughout the duration of our stay.) The shower was fantastic and bed was extremely comfortable. It was a great joy knowing after a long day of sightseeing you were able to return to such a lovely hotel.
Throughout our stay the staff were more than happy to help with any enquiries you may have and their English was fantastic.

The lobby downstairs had a baby grand piano and beautiful paintings and there was live music on the Thursday evening which was wonderful.

In terms of location it is near two metro stations. One being on the direct line to the Eiffel Tower, which we would recommend visiting at 10pm because it sparkles. It is a 15 minute walk from the Arc De Triomph, which again was stunning at night. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area and near the Metro Port De Champerret.

Overall I would like to thank the staff of Hotel De Banville for making our trip so pleasurable. My Girlfriend and I were stunned by the beauty of Paris and the comfort and homeliness of your hotel and brilliant staff. We did not want to leave. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to stay again in the future!

The staff is extremely friendly and impassioned about their hotel. Although it is a four star luxury hotel, it feels like a home. It has easy access to metro lines. The apartment buildings near the hotel are of Haussmanian style, simply beautiful.

This was our 2nd visit to Hotel de Banivlle, and this time i insisted on staying in the Amelie room as we'd heard the view was spectacular, we weren't disappointed. Upon an earlier than expected arrival our room was ready and we went up to the 7th floor by lift, and a short stairwell up to the 8th floor, we opened the door to a stunning, bright, beautiful room which screamed 'stay in here, don't go out and explore'.
It has little mirrors on the ceiling, which i thought were a little risqe at first, but actually they're a lot of fun, and make the room something different. 2 sinks in the bathroom, robes and slippers (which you can purchase for an outrageous amount, better off going to The White co.) a huge rolltop bath from which you can enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph.
We enjoyed lots of Champagne on the little balcony and had a great time.
The breakfast is great, and the staff are so helpful and efficient. I asked for an Iron and ironing board and it was there within 2 minutes. So lovely.
The location is great, the square has lots of delicious places to eat, a metro and the city bikes, so take advantage of that.
The only downside with the rooms at de Banville is that if you have a nieghbour, the walls are thin, you can hear water pipes, flushing and sadly i was rudely awoken by a french man shouting down a phone at 1am! They left the next day so i slept in peace for the other nights.
Also, no shower, lovely bath with a mismatched shower attachment, but we really craved a shower.
We will definitely stay again, and now we know how to use the free city bikes, we'll see even more of Paris.

My wife and I were staying in Paris for the first time, and made our decision to stay at the Hotel de Banville based on reviews and the importance for us of very good service. Everything that we experienced at the hotel confirmed that we had selected our accommodation well. The room (and lobby / reception areas) suggested that the hotel had been recently renovated; the decor of our room was appealing and the quality of furnishings and standard of cleanliness first class. The location meant that while the hotel was quiet, public transport was close by, as were many restaurants within easy walking distance. But most importantly, the assistance that the reception staff willingly offered us (we speak little French) was first rate, including advice on tours and handling everything involved with the bookings (at a difficult time being when the Tour de France was finishing).

Room Tip: Rooms facing the internal courtyard are quiet but offer an interesting outlook.

What a wonderful stay! The staff and particulary Rudy at the reception made my fiancee and I to feel like home. We got all kind of assistance and advice. The room was nice and cozy, actually recently renovated. Location is good, just a block away from the metro. Defínetely superior and friendly service!

We recently returned from our stay at the Hotel de Banville, where we booked two rooms for one week. From the moment we arrived, we loved the hotel. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly and helpful staff. The bed in one of our rooms was not comfortable for us and we were immediately changed to a freshly renovated room with a new, plush mattress. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated; the housekeeping staff is wonderful! The staff at the reception desk as well as all the staff at the hotel are truly amazing...answering any and all questions; making restaurant reservations; recommending shopping areas; giving directions... and on and on...The hotel offers breakfast , which is delicious and plentiful and a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel is perfect... close to two subway stops, restaurants, terrific shopping, a 10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe, and a beautiful and peaceful arrondissement to return to at the end of the day. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return! Merci beaucoup for a lovely and memorable stay!

Room Tip: Book directly with the hotel for a better rate and a discount on breakfast!

We booked the Hotel De Banville because of good reviews we had read on Trip advisor. On making our booking with Travel Republic we had requested a high floor with a nice view. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told by the receptionist that this request had not been passed on. We were very disappointed and asked if there were any such standard rooms available, only to be told no. We were actually allocated a low floor at the back of the hotel. Anyway the receptionist must have seen our disappointment because he offered us an upgrade at a reduced price. We were given a 5th floor superior room at the front of the hotel, which was great! The room was absolutely lovely and we had the view we wanted.
The staff were very helpful and were only too willing to assist with advice directions etc.
Anyway the hotel itself was great, all the staff were really nice and the location was spot on. There were plenty of bars/restaurants nearby, but the location of the hotel was peaceful. There are two Metro stations nearby which give easy access into the city.
Breakfast was good, but eating in the lobby, as there was no dinning room, was a little odd.
We would use this hotel again and would recommend to friends and family
