Loved this hotel. It is small, very well situated near Arc de Triomph e and Metro. The friendliness of all staff members was particularly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The classic room was small with twin beds for my grandson and I but perfectly adequate as we were busy exploring the beautiful city of Paris. It was amazingly quiet and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in!
I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and would certainly use it again.

We have just returned home from a two night stay at the Balmoral and found it the best small hotel we have stayed in Paris. The hotel is situated in a quiet street just a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Metro station. All the staff were delightful and we felt we were a guest and not just a number which is what you get in a larger establishment. Our room was at the back of the building and was quiet, very comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, adequate wardrobe space also wonderful bathroom. We loved the breakfast all beautifully laid out on a tray and the fresh fruit salad was a lovely way to start the day. We certainly will book to stay there on our next visit to Paris when it might not be just so hot.

Charming, friendly hotel. Excellent, helpful, informative, multi-lingual staff. 2/3 minute walk from Metro & Arc de Triomphe. Several pleasant restaurants in local surrounding streets. (No need to pay 'Champs-Elysees' prices). Comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Fantastic fresh fruit. Convenient 'safe' in room. Small lift to all floors. everything a traveller needs. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights, which we booked at short notice, after we decided that we'd bring our three children to Paris to see the sights. The Balmoral is right at the top of the Champs Élysées, on a quiet little street between two of the roads leading from the Arc De Triomphe - literally a 100m walk to the Arc De Triomphe itself. Having three children with us we were worried what the area was like in the evening, however, there were absolutely no problems at all - we felt safe walking around and the area was clean and well cared for.

The hotel itself was brilliant. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have done any more to help us. We arrived at 9.30am and expected not be be able to access our rooms until the afternoon, however, both our rooms were ready for us and we were showed up straight away. Not before the gentleman on reception had come outside to help us park (by the way, the on-street parking outside the hotel appears to be free during August). Our rooms were on the third floor and both were clean and nicely presented if slightly tired - but this was really not an issue given the star rating of the hotel and the price we paid. We were delighted that both the bathrooms were brand new and a good size. The beds were comfy, the showers were good and the hotel was peaceful and easy to sleep in - I suspect we made more noise than anything.

We didn't try breakfast as we were up and out in the mornings to get round to see everything but it looked good and was reasonably priced compared to what we paid around town for less. The free wifi worked perfectly and was simple to use and reception were happy to book a restaurant for us.

However, the real plus was how helpful and welcoming the staff were - they looked like they were really delighted to have us there. If you're visiting Paris and don't want to blow the budget on an overpriced hotel but want a good night's sleep somewhere clean and pleasant then we couldn't recommend the Balmoral highly enough.

What a gem. Tucked away on a quiet street just a short walk from the arc de triumph. The staff make this hotel, not one of them was anything but a joy to deal with. The rooms are quaint and classic French, comfy with lots of storage. The hotel is also very quiet. Breakfast was nice and delivered to you individually on a tray. The local area is nice, a supermarket over the road and loads of bars/ cafes around if you want to stay out of the city centre. If you want the city it's minutes away on foot, with the tube and a taxi rank around the corner. We were in a group of six and would all stay there again in an instant.

The Reception person(day time)is very nice. All of them are good service!! The twin room a little bit small. The Service staff is very funny and nice. This hotel should have room servuce at night because our room didn't have slippers in room and we call the front-desk that he told me the room service staff left already.
