“5 star location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

This quaint hotel located 100 metres from the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysses, and the Charles de Gaulle Metro and RER station makes it a perfect location if you want to be in the heart of this beautiful city. The staff were lovely and always so helpful and it felt like you were stepping back in time to a bygone era every time you walked into the hotel. The rooms were quite compact and starting to date and could do with a spruce up,but the bathroom was modern and functional. Walking out onto the Parisian streets and being spoiled for choice of eateries and sights was delightful.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
thank you very much for your opinion posted on TA. We are happy to read you loved your stay with us. You stayed in an old 19th century premise, typical of Haussmann's architecture. Our decor and furnitures is also inspired by the early and mid 19th, as an eyewink to Napoleon and our prestigious neighbour: l'Arc de Triomphe...
Respectfully.

I probably would have given four starts, but during our stay my sister asked about laundry service (which they provide), the problem is they did not mention the cost E77 for same day service. This cost was 30% of a night stay. The rooms were small, but the bathroom was great. The breakfast was not worth the money. The location is perfect, near a metro station and the main shopping district.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

We are sorry you were disappointed with the laundry service. Same day service is more expensive. You should have asked us and we would have turned it into a 24h for a cheaper price.
We hope we will keep your loyalty.
Sincerely yours,

A fabulous little hotel. Well situated 5 minutes from Metro and RER station and L'Arc de Triomphe and about 15-20 minutes pleasant walk from the Eifel Tower.

Our rooms were compact, as one would expect from a Paris hotel, but well-equipped, and nicely furnished. The staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered in a hotel and welcomed our small children.

Stayed there for three nights. Very good location. Metro station just 5 minutes away. Plenty restaurants to choose from. Very helpful staffs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Took my wife with me as she had never been to Paris before. She was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the bath room. She really enjoyed the trip because the hotel was so closed to the metro and we travelled to all places by the metro. She would come back again any time.

Mu husband and I stayed four nights at the Balmoral at the end of April 2013. It is a clean hotel, the staff are very very nice, helpful and speak English well. The hotel is very conveniently located a one minute walk from the Charles De Gaul Metro stop, one block from the Arc De Triumph and two blocks from Champs D'Elyses. The rooms are tiny, which is pretty standard in Paris, but the bed was very comfortable. I should also mention that the bathroom doesn't have a shower, it's a tub with a hand held spray that you could stand in the tub and hold it over you, like a shower, but there's no curtain and you will get water everywhere if you aren't careful. Overall we had an enjoyable stay here, beware the restaurants in the area can be very expensive if you aren't careful. I would stay here again as long as the prices stay the same :)

My partner and I stayed four nights in the Balmoral hotel.
It has a great position five minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Metro. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in the immediate area. It's a cosy and friendly hotel where all the staff go out of there way to be very helpfull and nothing is too much trouble. They are also very knowlegable if you have any questions about Paris. Rooms are first class for the price with comfortable large beds. Impeccably clean and good service. We looked forward to our breakfast on a tray each morning with lovely coffee and fresh croissants and fruit.
We will definately return to the Balmoral Hotel.

This hotel is so convenient for getting around Paris by foot or metro a it is so close to the arc de triomphe metro. Our room on the 6th floor had a brand new bathroom with bath, shower, big mirrors and make-up mirror and good lighting and warm rails. the room had enough wardrobe space and comfortable beds, air conditioning, central heating and was quiet.
Our goupon deal included wine and champagne which were both excellent and tickets to the Louvre (although we preferred the musee d'orsay).
My 21 year old daughter liked shopping at H&M on the Champs Elysee (just 5 min walk away) and prices there the same as in England. There are plenty of cafes around and so much to see- this is a good hotel for a short break.
