This fabulous 200 year old hotel with walking distance to the river and the Louvre. Easy to get around if you want to catch the underground. Not a very big Hotel but comfortable and clean. We had adjoining rooms for our 2 children so was easy as a family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is an absolute treat. Tuck away in one of the small streets near the river Seine it ouzes with charm. There are cheaper places to stay in Paris (more expensive too) but since we were travelling on trains from Scotland to Berlin deciding against the expensive sleeper option we wanted a nice hotel in Paris. And this one definitely was. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist who took time to have a small chat with us as well as our toddler - a big brownie point for that - as it doesn't happen very often. Then we made our way upstairs walking up charming winding stairs decorated with impressionist pictures. The family room - it turned out to be two seperate rooms - as so often in Paris:) one with courtyard view and the other with Paris rooftops view - a dream come through , just sooo Parisian :). The room was clean as was the bathroom - clean and cute (toilettries provided). And the walls an eyepoping mixture of flowery wallpaper and pictures - of course from the Impressionist masters as this is the theme of the hotel. Maybe not to everyones taste but I loved the old fashioned style:). The hotel itself has a great location with many restaurants , boulangeries and little galerie shops . It's also very central so many tourist attractions are easily reached by foot, which if you stay only for a short time is important. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we opted to eat at the Rodin Museeum, but the breakfast room looked very nice and cosy . The only thing I didn't like was that we stayed there so short.

This hotel was perfect for our budget (3 students spending the weekend in Paris). Location was excellent...very easy walk to a metro stop, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Seine. Walking as a group at night, the area felt pretty safe. Our room was on the top floor...be prepared for a hike if you are carrying suitcases up the stairs! The elevator was barely big enough for a person and their suitcase. It was unseasonably cold in May when we visited and the room was FRIGID at night...bring warm clothing! Although, perhaps in the winter months the heating is better. No frills to the room, but perfectly adequate. The man at the front desk was always friendly and greeted us as we came and left. Again, great value for the price!

Located near the Seine, Louvre and centrally located to access many sites. We had two rooms (separate from each other) which were surprisingly small for my husband, three adult children and myself. The gent at the front desk always had a smile and a good morning, in contrast to the older lady who was just so unhappy. However, the cute little dog/mascot was always in the tiny lobby to greet us! We were on the second floor and the stairs were old and difficult to negotiate, but we were careful and had no issues. So, there it is.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room.

I wanted a typical French hotel & found this one - great location over the Seine from the Louvre, down the road from the Musee d'Orsay, walking distance to Place de la Concorde & Champs Elysees & anywhere else I wanted to go. Staff were very friendly & helpful, especially Ami. Many conversations about life in Paris, what to see, chances to practice my French. Would recommend this hotel. Quiet location so no traffic noise.
