The lady at the desk and the cleaning lady were exceptionally kind. The property is close to a metro. It was great for a one night trip, solo. It is the bare necessities. Shower is the bathroom (no curtain or separator from toilet) but it is better than sharing one down a hall. Adequate space and clean enough. The windows to inner courtyard would not lock so it wasn't exactly a secure. Only hand towels were provided so I was glad I didn't need to take a shower.

I would not recommend this place, under any circumstances. Poor Reception, often not manned.

Poky bedroom. View on to another building a few feet away. no sunlight. Cramped washing facility/WC.
Poor room cleanliness. I had a feeling of claustrophobia.

This was the cheapest single room I could find in Paris. I initially wanted a single room in a hostel, but there were few options, so I settled with Hotel Anya. I have backpacked the world and lived in gross conditions, I generally have low expectations while traveling, but for some reason Hotel Anya rubbed me the wrong way. There was a live bug in my bed, a SHOE PRINT on my pillow that they acted like I was bothering them to ask them to replace, and a horrible smell in the whole place. I would tell anyone thinking about staying in Paris and contemplating a hostel or a single room to go ahead and pay extra to avoid this place. It's not worth the 10 euro savings to live in filth in the city of lights.

stayed two nigths at anya hotel, not too bad but not too good. you get what you paid for. this was the cheapest room i could find in central paris. good value for it's price, just like i expected. room very small but that's cheap hotels in paris. no air condition , tv work well but only french, wi-fi not consistent, the voucher says it is good for 7 days but finished after 2-3 hours, reception gave me new ones with no problem. one review here says there is curfew from 1 am, but this is not true. the main door and reception close at 1 am but you can still go in and out with a password. nearest metro station is chordone, 20 meters. can walk 15 minutes to bastille. and the best thing - rigth in the corner 5 meter from the hotel there is a very good' thougth pricey, falafel and humus restaurant.

Room Tip: choose first or second floor as there is no elavator

Oh god I can't imagine how bad the hotel was. We were staying for 3 nights there and we had bad experience. The hotel did not have elevator, it was awful with a lot of cigarettes smokes in the corridor. The bathroom is too small. The room was small with unclean bed sheets with holes because of cigarettes. I could not dare to put my head on the pillows.Obviously it was not a 2 star hotel. Never recommend that.

i was staying at this hotel for a short vacation in May 21-25 in paris. However, the experience and enviroment of the hotel is out of my expectation. The room was too small and dirty You can turn your back and close the door for the toilet. And the cleaning of the room is not done properly. Hotel admin only come after 11:30am in the morning. No one can serve and attend to your before 11:30am. i found some dog st in the corridor of the hotel. High not recommended.

Room Tip: Choose the room according to room size, cleanliness and service quality

I had 3 nights stay in this hotel and had very bad experience. first of all, the hotel is very dirty and not clean properly everday. secondly, the service of the reception is very bad and always ask you to pay for your bill 3-4 days in advance. thirdly, the cleaning and the security is worst as the hotel is not maintained and manned.

I strongly advise you all not to stay in this hotel. you will regret it.

Room Tip: go for IBIS which is near to the Voltaire
