On a quick stop over to visit family, I spent one night at the Hotel Cervantes. The room was functional with a small balcony and views of Paris rooftops. Although I feared the constant rumbling of trains from the nearby Gare St Lazare would be an issue it was not the case. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Couple of issues in bathroom: no place for articles (could have a sink shelf), tissue box fell on toilet and shower doors didnt close properly, however since i was only there one night, not really an issue. Kettle in room, teas, lovely breakfast buffet: fresh bread and delicious scrambled eggs. Mathilde at reception was very helpful and friendly.

Small but perfectly formed, the value-for-money Hotel Cervantes was just right for our three-night trip to Paris for two friends and our two 15-year-old daughters. The beds were super-comfortable and the room was very clean, if a little bit hot - although the windows opened on to the quiet and quaint Rue de Berne, so it wasn't a problem.

The hotel is well situated for taking the Metro into town and there are several stations just a stone's throw away. There are also lots of great places to eat nearby including the superb neighbourhood Bistro L'Affiche at the end of the street, where we had an amazing meal on our first night, on the recommendation of Luis on reception at the hotel.

What made our stay really special was the friendliness and excellent service of all the staff, who went out of their way to ensure the hotel is a welcoming haven during a busy city stay. The team are also a mine of useful information on everything from travelling to the airport, to what to see, and getting around in Paris, as well as some top notch recommendations for places to eat.

Thank you Hotel Cervantes. next time we are in Paris we will definitely be back to stay again.

Hotel Cervantes is ideally situated for many of the sights to see in Paris. Staff member Luis helped to make our stay. All staff members were very courteous and helpful. The hotel does a good breakfast and has a Happy Bar between 18.00 and 20.00 hours when they serve complimentary cocktails and savoury nibbles.
It is close to the Metro and is surrounded by good restaurants of all types. A most enjoyable stay.
