This lovely hotel is within walking distance of the Saint-Lazare railway station and also convenient to the Rome metro station though it is quite off the beaten track of tourists. I stayed here at the recommendation of my travel service. I could not have been more pleased. The hotel has been recently modernized and is immaculately clean. The staff is extremely accomodating, particularly if you can speak some French. The breakfast buffet is very delicious and quite ample. Keep in mind that the rooms are very small indeed, especially the bathrooms, so that those of larger girth may not find the space quite so commodious. I will stay there again.

Room Tip: There is a very delightful and thoroughly French bistro in the close vicinity, Un Bistro En Ville...

We stayed here in May, and although it isn't immediately next to any of the big attractions, the location on the metro line means you're right in the middle of all the attractions.
The hotel is very modern and clean, and I found the staff to be very helpful. It was a great base for our short Paris trip.

Hotel Cervantes is a great modern hotel, with really helpful polite staff that speak a number of different languages. Our room was really clean and modern looking with a free to use safe and mini fridge, its in a great area that feels safe and the hotel is literally a 2 minute walk away from "Rome" metro. The location is quite central with tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower only a 15 minute metro ride away, it is also placed on a side road just of the boulevard des batignolles where there are plenty of little cafes and patisseries.
Overall i was impressed with the hotel and would stay there again if i was to return to Paris.

We stayed here from July 28 to August 1, 2012. The staff is young, hip, multi-lingual, helpful, and the service is five-star! I don't know what the young man named Alex is earning, but they should double his pay; he took care of every issue immediately and professionally and always with a friendly attitude. The rooms are small, clean and are decorated in a VERY modern way (too modern for my taste). The hotel is a 90-second walk to the Metro, and breakfast was about 10 simple items. If you are the kind of traveler who gets up early, goes sight-seeing all day and likes a bargain, this hotel is perfect. The four of us had no complaints.

We spent 4 days at the Cervantes in June.

The Cervantes is a reasonable three star hotel. The rooms are standard size for a 3 star in Paris (not large but adequate).

We had a so called double premium room and paid around $190 per night. This compares to the stated hotel web rate of € 260. However, if you book on the hotel’s site much cheaper rates are actually available. In fact it is showing rates around € 110. Why do hotels do this?

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a good size. The breakfasts are a problem. It’s the normal Paris hotel ‘continental’ breakfast with the addition of eggs (well it was yellow and looked like scrambled eggs) and sausages. The pastries are fine but leave the eggs – reminiscent of bad airline food. The breakfast room is in the basement and simply too small for the size of the hotel. Reception staff are OK but certainly there was no suggestion that they would go the extra mile to assist.

The hotel is located in a reasonably quiet street close to a number of metro stations and ready access to bus routes servicing the central areas such as Opera, the Champs Elysees, Louvre etc. The area around the hotel is not the best part of Paris, but there are nice areas in the nearby 17th.

Close to the hotel is a fabulous restaurant (Neva) which has many fabulous reviews on Trip Advisor. We would endorse them. Great food, reasonable prices and very helpful staff. It is small and you need to book to get a table.

If you get it for a good rate then by all means try the Cervantes but we would not be rushing back.

Room Tip: If you are staying in this area go to the Neva Restauarant

We stayed here over 2 years ago now but I am only just on trip advisor! This was mine & my boyfriends first trip and I loved every minute! Paris is beautiful & this hotel was perfect! I think we payed £90-£100 a night at the time! The room we had was very clean, average size & modern!
There was no view from the hotel room but anybody who is crying over a view should get out more! There's too much to see than to spend all your time looking out of a window!!

My boyfriend took me back to paris in march this year for my 21st birthday but booked us into an appartment which was fab..very modern and view of the Eifell tower which was fab as we went for 4nights and felt like we had already seen a lot from the first time,it was nice to lie in bed looking at the Eifell tower sparkling of a night time :) He said that he had looked to book us back into hotel Cerventes but it was around £160 a night :O Now although the hotel was nice it isn't worth paying that after what we got stayin in the fab appartment which costed us £350 for 4 nights and was amazing :)

Have a look round before booking any hotel! The best thing about Hotel Cerventes was the bakerys around it which were cheap and very tasty! It is about 2 mins walk away from Metro Rome which gets you anywhere but there is a metro close by to everythin including the appartment we stayed in.

Hotel Cervantes was a lovely hotel and a nice 3*, in a quiet road with lots of good restaurants only a 5 minute walk away. It was very clean and had a good variety at breakfast. It was literally 1 minute walk away from the Rome Metro station which is about 5 stops away from the action. We had a Premier room which was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a weekend with a comfy bed. The receptionist was extremely helpful at all times. The only down side is that they do need some new English TV channels if you are in the room for any length of time which we were not. Very nice, would definately stay there again.

Room Tip: Definately go for a Premier room if you can stretch to it as I believe the others are very small!
