“Lovely Experience”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

This stay for 3 nights was for our honeymoon, being my first ever visit to Paris. On arrival the receptionist spoke fantastic English and was very welcoming and helpful. They new the stay was for our honeymoon, but on arrival to our room it had 2 single beds pushed together, but it was a large room. My wife went to reception, and spoke with the receptionist who immediately apologised and changed our room to a double.

The room was very very clean. The only bad thing I'd say was that the toilet was separate to the bathroom. The toilet was in a very very small room which made it a little uncomfortable. Other than that it was lovely. Fresh decor and amazingly comfy bed. The view from the room was street facing, but even with the windows wide open was very quiet, due to the hotels location, but still with an ambience. The weather at the time of our stay was very hot, so the in room AC was very welcome and super cooled the room and was fairly quiet.

The location of the hotel was superb for travelling around the city by foot or Metro with many stations close by. Giving easy access to the Rail service to Disney. We tried a couple of places to eat lunch and dinner close by and the choice was exceptional.

The hotel buffet breakfast was lovely, choice of cereal, cheese, meats, rolls, croissants and other pastries and drinks.

All in all this was a lovely hotel and would stay there again and have recommended it to friends.

Thank you for your nice comment ! We wish you both our best wishes of happiness. We enjoy to know that you liked your first trip to Paris. Cleanliness is one of our priorities. We have a very good location to discover Paris ; near metro line 8 – 9 with Bonne Nouvelle and Grands Boulevards Stations. To go to Disneyland Paris from our hotel, it is very easy. You just need to go to Opera a-10 minute walk from the Hotel Peyris Opera and from RER line A, you have a direct access. We will be happy to welcome you again.

Spotlessly clean room - modernised, but maintaining some nice 'Belle Epoque' style cues. Nice big flat-screen tv, free wifi worked at 'Excellent' strength level (big chain hotels take note!!), very comfortable bed, excellent sound-proofing - slept like logs. 'Quality' soft furnishings. Bathroom a bit cramped but clean + fresh towels, shampoos etc every day - everything worked. Unobtrusive room servicing (again - big hotel chains could learn a thing or two here). Only thing that would improve the room would be a safe-box - however, these are available by Reception.

Staff consistently charming and helpful

Excellent breakfast.

Enjoyed our stay there and will make it our base on next trip as it ticks all the boxes.

Room Tip: A/C control panel was showing as 'Centrally controlled' and it wasn't really doing anyth...

I stayed at this hotel with my cousin from new york last week . We both loved both the location and the helpfulness of the staff, the room was spotless as was the bathroom. we had a widescreen tv and free wii fi.
Also, when my cousin returned to new york she realized she was missing a silver necklace, I contacted the Hotel Peryis and asked if they would check if she had left it behind.

A very helpful gentleman rang me back within an hour and told me they had found it, he also has registered posted it to me. I cant say enough about how helpful he was, and how very impressed i am with their honisty.
This hotel is very highly recommended by me to all my family and friends both in Ireland and the USA

Our company has to send staff on a regular basis to our office located near the Opera in Paris. We have tried many hotels in that district, it goes from top of the range 4/5 stars, unaffordable, but indeed clean and good service, to the worst (bed bugs being reported in one of them!).

From outside and when you enter the Peyris, it has a dusty old look, you already imagine the screeching of the bedsprings, the rombling of the water pipes, the craking of the parquet floor and expect a beeswax smell allover the place.

How wrong can you be! How deceptive is this place! You don't even know it, until you open your room's door. Like Alice in Wonderland, you land in an another world's room. Very modern design, bright, colourful, funky, comfortable.

Now we are regular loyal customers, happy to be warmly welcomed each time by the team.

It's a great find for us, but shushhhhh...

Stayed here my first time in Paris. The room was small but clean and the decor was very modern (true to pics) with a nice size wall mounted flat screen TV (only 2 English channels: CNN, BBC). Bathroom was spotless. Fixtures appeared all new. Rooms were quiet with great sound proof walls.

Beware, no elevator though. There was a tiny lift with a capacity for one, which I only used for my luggage. Otherwise, the stairs definitely gave me that daily workout I've been way behind on with my unused gym membership.

The breakfast was general buffet style. Croissants, cereal, boiled eggs, toast, cheese, juice, coffee, tea, etc. Nothing to write home about but hey it was free. Also, many shops and restaurants close by to grab a bite.

Front desk staff had poor English yet helpful as best as they could be. Wifi was available which is a definite plus in my book. Also, the location was good. We walked EVERYWHERE. Overall a great place to stay on a budget.

Stayed at the Hotel Peyris for my birthday just after Easter. We had a very clean & comfortable twin room. The hotel staff we very helpful & friendly....especially Alexandre. Breakfast was continental style, there was plenty of it and was very tasty. A good start to your day.
The location is lovely. Only a 5 minute walk to the metro which will get you around all of Paris with ease.Lots of local places to eat near the hotel & the bistros are good value for money. There is a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel but we did not eat there. The menu looked wonderful.
We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The whole team is very pleased to have done a wonderful stay. The location of the hotel is a great asset to visit Paris. The area is very famous for its many restaurants, pubs and breweries. The hotel was recently renovated, and all our bedding were changed. Alexandre and the team hope to see you soon.

Firstly let me say there was some fear in booking a hotel in Paris for 3 adults.
We looked everywhere for somewhere that could provide 3 beds in a room.
This was difficult to secure - many hours reviews of Trip Advisor posts gave us some serious concerns about getting a room to fit three of us in.
We eventually stumbled across this Hotel.
We made contact with them through email.
They were very efficient and polite - sending us pictures of the actual room we would be booked into if we made a reservation with the hotel.
The room was very spacious.
There were two single beds provided and then two roll aways that could be used in addition.
If the second roll away (hidden underneath the other one) was pulled out it would have reduced the floor space at night only.
However, the room was large enough for all our luggage and gave us ample room to move.
There is a wardrobe in the the room that has a generous storage space.
A desk and multiple chairs for workspace and computer use.
There is free WiFi as well provided.
The shower is of good size and the toiletries are sufficient.
The linen is clean, crisp and nice.
The room decor itself are unique - bright, is maybe an understatement but it all goes to the character of the Hotel and the Opera District in which you are situated.
Breakfast was a continental breakfast with beautiful cold meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries and wonderful juices. Tea, coffee, cereals and toast along with a variety of fresh fruits were provided.
The Metro is 5 min walk at the most - easily serviced by Cadet and Grand Boulevard stations. The Cadet line takes you direct to the Louvre and all the attractions in central Paris.
There is a laundromat - self serve only and only 2 blocks from the hotel. Very economical and great machines to do all your washing on a long trip.
The area is serviced by some great restaurants, patisseries, bars and cafes - I am pretty certain all cuisines, budgets and taste buds will be served in the immediate area.
I did learn something from atour guide - not to eat near the major attractions - walk away 2 blocks and pay up to half the price - this was true in those areas - but not in our local area as the prices varied between 10Euro and 20Euro for a 3 course meal (or formulas).
Wine is best bought by the carafe rather than by the glass.
The Hotel has a bar, restaurant and front desk service.
They have a strange rule of no eating in your room - but the rooms and carpets are in very good condition - so I would assume that this policy does contribute to this factor.
There are no tea, coffee and fridge facilities in the room - but with cafes and so many general stores close by to service your needs you really do not need them.
I have posted some pictures of our room and the Hotel - enjoy!
I would recommend this Hotel to all groups - it is in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood, I am certain that you will not be disappointed.
If you like staying in 4 - 5 star Hotels with all the trimmings go and pay the $400++ per night for a room - this place was around $280AUD per night with breakfast included.
Great value and great location.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on Level One - the lift is very small - like most places in Paris. There is very...
