Why do so few go here, it's a great building with lots of art and a feeling of space inside.

No reason not to visit and we really enjoyed our time.

We didn’t have much time and therefore only enjoyed the permanent collection, which was very worth it. Beautiful paintings, sculptures and the garden is gorgeous. If you have special needs e.g. wheelchair, or a stroller, access is very difficult (especially as one of the elevators was out of service). None of the staff members made an effort to help us, not even showing us in the right direction!! Is this Parisian kindness?

With striking ans ornate design, this museum and exhibition hall is another part of the great France exhibition of 1900. Truly an amazing masterpiece, the stairs and the facade is representative of arts. Its brainmaster drew inspiration largely from 17th and 18th century French style. When you come by and visit large bags and luggage are usually not allowed.

Petit palais - palais des beaux arts is indeed a nice place to visit and to relax a bit when going down on Champs elysee from Etoile to Place de la Concorde, turn right near Clemenceau metro station, vis a vis Grand Palais. Free entrance but with security checks. The place is a small museum about Paris history and evolution, old pictures such as of Hotel de ville being displayed. Also paintings, pottery, old objects are presented in an accesible
Collection with explanations about period and specific features. I run into it two times in different years when visiting Paris, both in rainy days and I found it very nice and pleasant. Also a lot of places to sit and rest are available all over the visit that has a circular sens and ends up
In a small boutique. The staff was very nice since we had bought a mini-troley from Disney shop and normally you are not allowed to enter with such luggage and they offered to lead us to the cloack room where we could leave it while
Visiting. Also free toillet is available whereas there are coffee shops that tax you 1 euro if you are not client. Also, from outside you can
Admire the beauty of Grand Palais and Pont Alexandre III.
