Animals looked very healthy and happy. Had about 20 giraffes. Couldn’t see the meerkats. The animals were very lively.

We are glad that you enjoyed your visit, and sorry for the meerkats. It is true that enclosures are quite large and some animals may choose to hide from time to time or to rest in the shade, especially when the weather is hot.

Really lovely way to enjoy a few hours...especially with sunshine. Animals are in lovely and sympathetic enclosures and all seem healthy and enriched.

20€ is a fair price. I was so surprised to see manatees, sea otters, penguins in enclosures which allow you to see them underwater. Those were huge highlights.

The park is set within a large, free to enter, public park with lake, boating and walking.

Who goes to the zoo in Paris? On June 7, the answer was “American grandmother with 12 year old burned out on culture and art.” I have seen truly great zoos in San Diego, Washington and Milwaukee and this one was a couple of notches down. However, the animals were well cared for and the habitats were well done, so no complaints. If you need a day outside with the kids, this is good for a couple hours max.

nice zoo in paris... not too big, not too small... good collections of wild animals across diverse regions like africa, europe, madagascar... zebra, giraffes .. so many of them, rhino, puma, lemurs, jaguars, penguins. the tropical section is also great... spacious enclosures, natural surroundings... plenty of areas to rest... though not highlighted in travel literature this is a great gem in the city. Added attraction is the public park outside with a beautiful lake and boating. dont miss it if you hv the time.

Very good zoo, plenty to see, allow at least 3 hours for a visit. My sons enjoyed especially the penguins, but you can see lots of animals. Try to catch animal feeding times (look for the signs) and at the end don't omit to visit the little but very imaginative playing ground (bring a towel with you - you will need it). Most information signs only in French, unfortunately. Opposite the zoo there is a great park where you can continue for a picnic, relax or rent a boat.

Thank you for leaving your feedback. Only the name of the species is translated in English indeed.
However, a free mobile app and an audioguide are available in English as well as a map in English.
An English mini-guide can also be purchased for EUR 3.
