“Great Trip Advisor Recommendation”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

We were staying in Paris and wanted a good restaurant near to our hotel. Trip advisor showed this one as one of the best in Paris; it certainly was. Three tasting menu choice, for, six or eight courses, we chose the one with six dishes costing 75 euros a head. Not cheap but for a Michelin starred restaurant not unexpected. Food and service was faultless, with English not problem to the restauirant. Would recommend to anyone.

“Good food, ok service, not quite as good as other 1 star restaurants”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

It was our second one Michelin restaurant this week . Cobea was not quite up to the standard . Most of the dishes were good - we had the 6 course degustation. The beet root dish was very average as was the cheese dish - very rich and not alot of flavour. Left it half finished!
Desert was ok but wasn't quite sure why we were brought 4 desert dishes at once - no real explanation was given as to why or in what order to have it?

Service was very average! There was a new trainee on the floor, another 2 staff w him but did not give off that Michellin star service vibe.

Overall, it was good but not amazing!
Sola was our other restaurant - that I can say was amazing!

“A superb experience”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We did not choose more than the basic menu at lunchtime and bought a 49E bottle of wine. Our total outlay was less than about 160E including water and a cheese course and coffee (with petits fours). All of the courses were a treat and the wine was excellent. The smellier was very knowledgeable and engaging.

“Nice mix of flavours and textures”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We had a nice meal at Cobea. I guess one could term the cuisine modern french. They have a selection of either 4, 6 or 8 courses. I chose the 6 course dinner which consisted of 4 mains and a cheese and a dessert. The comte cheese course was great ! A mousse of comte with thin slices of comte accompanied by some bitter greens. Dessert was also exceptional - a strawberry sherbet with a surprise strawberry inside. There was also a surprise selection of 3 wines for 30 euro which accompanied the food perfectly. An enjoyable evening in a small but pleasant dining room. Kudos to the chefs and service personnel.

“wonderful Dining @ Cobea Restaurant, Paris”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

My fiancee bought me and his 2 Parisian friends a 6 course Dinner @ Cobea, Paris.
The food was very artistic plated.
We had Prochuito & shrimp appetizer, Zuccini Mousse for starters
followed by Mini Lobster with truffles,
tender Monkfish wrapped in a delicate shell of fried vermichelli,
Cod & grilled Eggplant was my main course. The desserts were heavenly:
Strawberry shorbet topping and Rasberry Shorbet tucked in a Macaroon shell, followed by Chocolate Truffled with gold-leaf.

Cobea has since earned a Michelin star since we ate there last September.
We really love this restaurant's quality and service.
The Cod was dry and bland though, everything else was great .
