This hotel is located only a couple of blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. It is small, but clean with excellent service. The hotel staff speaks English, but is very good with appreciating your attempts at French. They offer great advice for local needs, so don't hesitate to ask.
A major metro stop is nearby at the Arc de Triomphe. Just don't forget to notice where you entered so you can exit at the same spot. It is a long way around the traffic circle if you come up at the wrong exit.
The rooms are small, Parisian style. The breakfast room is very small, but the breakfasts are excellent and plentiful. There is someone there full time to assist you with warm milk, refilling platters, etc.
The bar is tiny, but does exist. You simply as the person at the front desk and sit in the lobby. Shopping, if you are interested, is nearby on the Champs Élysées or Avenue des Ternes. All of the major sites in Paris are just a quick metro ride away.
I have stayed in this hotel three times and would not hesitate to stay again.
