Location is very good and in August in Paris one has a lot of the Left Bank to oneself. We walked to the Jardin du Luxembourg and stopped for a coffee - the cafe proprietor begged us to return for the jazz band in the evening - "Paris is so dead in August".

Hotel staff were helpful but not more than that. The breakfast was first class for a hotel this size. The Michelin starred restaurant was unsuitable for a family with a small child (all seating is on bar stools), so we cancelled our reservation, but it was obviously popular.

Rooms were typical Paris size, but very well decorated and fitted out given the lack of space. Good bathroom. We certainly enjoyed our stay and have no complaints but probably wouldn't return, it didn't really offer good value compared to cheaper hotels I've stayed at in the past in the same area.

Room Tip: Upper floors offer better views

My husband and I and our sons (23&18) spend two nights at this lovely little hotel. The location on the left bank and tucked into a neighborhood was pleasant. The rooms were very nice - spacious as were the bathrooms. All was clean and the hotel very quiet. It is served in a nice light and bright room in the rear of the hotel and was quite good. We were only able to partake in the breakfast one morning as we flew out very early the next day. We had a bit of a problem getting taxis from the hotel. When we asked for them to get us a taxi - they said - just go around the corner to the taxi stand - well - we were not thrilled with that response and then when we walked the block to the taxi stand - not one not two but three taxis refused to give us service because there were 4 of us. So trek back to the hotel where the concierge - who is now fully engaged in helping us (probably because my husband became fully engaged) came out and grabbed a taxi and told us and the drive that they could not refuse us service -of course the taxi he grabbed was not one that had denied us service - but it all worked out in the end. We hired a private van through the hotel to take us to the airport which although pricey (170) was charged to our hotel bill - so no payment hassle and it was a lovely vehicle and no fighting over the amount in our party and a very pleasant trip out of Paris. Overall a nice location and hotel - but would not recommend for tourists who know nothing of Paris or for families.

Amazing hotel in the Saint Germain area, perfect location and wonderful junior suite! Breakfast very expensive, worth experiencing Paris for that! Staff very attentive and helpful on recommending things to do and see.

Room Tip: Seek out special offers on the junior suites, well worth it.

I visited this hotel for one night this month, the hotel is immaculate, and the room was beautifully decorated and clean. Housekeeping was superb. The room was small even by european standards for a deluxe room. Hotel is good but staff let it down somewhat. Its listed as a 5 star and its looks 5 star but service is an issue. I went for a last minute drink with my wife to the bar which had 7 people in it and a lot of empty chairs. we were greeted by a staff member and shown to an area far away from the bar. I indicated I wanted to sit near the bar where there was a little more going on. No you can sit there was the reply 'thats set up for four people' Excuse me I replied the bar is nearly empty, well you cant sit there. So I did the correct thing and walked out and went straight to my room. another staff member gestured for us to come back. But sorry no.
At breakfast I asked for a linen napkin as I hate paper ones. Staff replied "no" you can use paper. Obviously I was a little peeved as other staff members were polishing glasses with , yes you guessed it Linen napkins.!!
I had to ask again and it arrived.
In a 5 star hotel generally if its legal ask and you shall receive. in great 5 star hotels like the Savoy in London, the Ritz Carlton Group they will anticipate your needs.
Breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. No smoked Salmon.

This hotel was booked by a friend for his 50th birthday celebration. It was perfectly located for us to explore most things on foot (Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum, Ile de la Cite etc). There were good restaurants in the same street for evening meals and a bakery nearby for breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and a reasonable size for such a centrally located hotel. It would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room...but perhaps this is just an 'English' thing? The air conditioning was very effective, which was great as it was 30-36 degrees during our stay and the beds were very comfy...pillows were perfect.
We ate one evening at L'Atelier Joel Robuchon, which is 'sort of' attached to the hotel. Rather pricey but a lovely experience as we sat overlooking the kitchen. Again the staff were very friendly.

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor, which meant we had a view over the roof tops of Paris. Friends below on t...

we stayed at the pont royal in july for 4 nights on our honeymoon. the hotel is beautiful, very clean and staff are welcoming and helpful. our room was wonderful, again spotless and quiet. hotel is in a great location, we felt very safe here and the metro station was just around the corner. we travelled on metro a lot and were very impressed with the system. breakfast in hotel was lovely, lots of choice, though it is pricey if not included in cost as it was for us. would stay at this hotel again if we returned to paris, highly recommend!

We stayed here for 3 days. its actually more like a butique hotel instead of 4 stars, but its paris anyway.
Located in Montalembert, which is near rue de bac and mostly walking distance to tourism places.
near main road, a bit busy but it was ok.
Easy dining, even there is mini market next to the hotel where you can buy stuff, open until 10 pm.

The service is ok, but the breakfast is good value, 25 euro /buffet.

They were forget to clean up room oncn and the cleaning service werent terribly impressive, they dont provide toothbrush, make sure u bring one. mostly the staffs speak enuff english.
