Stayed at the Paris Rivoili From September 11th till September 18th , loved this hotel , it was small and quaint with charm, rooms are small but the norm for Europe, great location close to buses, metro, right in the heart of the Marais neighbourhood, free wifi, Hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times, breakfast was included it was more of a continental breakfast yogurt, cheese, meat, crossaints, cereal nothing amazing but it was fine,
There was an amazing bakery on the same block turn right from the hotel and turn right at the corner lots of baked goods and lunch foods as well .
We had a front room which I loved, yes it was noisy if you left the balcony doors open but if you closed them there was no noise at all, I personallly love the noise and it was so nice with the balcony doors open . Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again

This hotel is very well located, has good price and a fair breakfast for just 8 euros. Front rooms are ok in size but some rear ones are small. It has a moderate sized lift for Paris standard, good for 4 people without baggage or 2 people and baggage.

I had some problems with the shower and the flush but the staff fixed in less than 24 hours. Free wifi at the hotel is a great advantage. This hotel has air conditioned, a MUST for Paris summer.

But the real surprise was the extremely kind staff. They are great !

We ordered several months in advance on Booking website.
We chose this hotel because it said that the room has a balcony and coffee facilities
We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 tired from the flight, But we were told that we could get the room only at 13:00. Most hotels we stayed in, never had a problem getting the room earlier. When we arrived at 13:00 we were told that the room was not yet ready!!!. We had to wait another 20 minutes. After all this, we discovered that the room has no balcony and no coffee facilities as it said on Booking.com. In addition - we got a room in the attic when you get hit in the head every time going into the bathroom, And when it rained - all of the water came in through the window and slid the rug. Toilet in the bathroom adjacent Rough glass window - It gives a unpleasant feeling when sitting on the toilet. We asked for late check out Even if required to pay, But we were told that there is no such option because the hotel is fully booked, But when we looked online, we saw that they still offer rooms for sale on this day. They cleaned our room even though we left a sign do not disturb. We paid 150 euros per night, which is a very high price for what we got
Now the good things:
- Excellent location (but there were many other hotels in the area)
- There is a lift
- There are several cafes and pubs and shops around the hotel

Room Tip: Asked in advanced for a room with balcony - Do not order if you do not ensure you have a room with a balcony, Or pay less than the price of a room with a balcony.

For the second time I stayed at the hotel Paris Rivoli, situated at the bustling Marais in Paris. This visit (8 nights in total) was even better than the one before. I occupied a spacious room (504) with a balcony with chairs and table overlooking the rooftops and lovely preserved 18th century buildings of Rue de Rivoli. The room was well appointed with a double bed, flat TV screen, mini bar and individual air conditioner which could provide the right temperature in the room if the guest so wished. The bathroom was equally spacious with plenty of hot water, complimentary toiletries and fresh towels replaced every day. The hotel is located within a few steps to the Hotel de Ville, la Notre Dame, the Musee Pompidou and several other museums in the Marais region. It is also very close to the Metro St. Paul, which is the line 1 and takes you through the city from one extreme at the Chateau de Vincennes to the La Defense, with many stops to most of the more important sites of the city. The Marais provides you with a nearly endless list of restaurants, trendy shops of all kinds, fromageries and boulangeries to die for and the great magazin BHV. These are all at the hotel doorstep. But the most important thing is the staff. I wish to express my most heartfelt thanks to Francois, Monique, Sylvie and Hussein who so very warmly received me, answered all my questions speedly and efficiently and were always ready to help me in finding things I needed. As I was concerned with the weight of my luggage that might cause me problems at the airport on my way home, they provided a scale to weigh my baggage and so helped me avoid any kind of nuisance during check in. As I plan to return to Paris, the city I love most, soon in the near future, I definitely wish to stay at hotel Paris Rivoli.

Room Tip: If possible, a room with a view of the street.

Excellent location! Under 10 minutes to the Pompidou Ctr. and about 12 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants minutes from the hotel. Close to the Metro and buses run along the street on a regular basis. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the beds were clean and very comfortable. The room was small but adequate for a short stay and well placed if you need to refresh before going out at night. We went out for breakfast.
