We booked online and hoped we picked a great hotel to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We did. From first booking 3 weeks before arrival I was emailing with the Concierge staff to find me a great restaurant for our celebration. They got us into La Cinq but we had to cancel when one of us sick. We recovered because they were so helpful in guiding us to get medial assistance and all worked out well. They were so helpful in every way possible - train, bus, taxi, restaurants - you name it, these guys were top notch in getting us exactly what we needed or wanted. By the way, the metro, buses and taxis are all within 50 yard of the hotels front door.

The room accommodation's were wonderful. Large room, great room service, and housekeeping. We had a full view of the Arc de Triomphe which was right outside our window (room 404) and only two blocks away. Breakfast was also very good. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant because there were many places within 2 blocks to get a great meal, i.e., Semasa (real Italian) and Chez Gabrielle (real French), just to name a few.

If we get back to Paris, we'll definitely have the Splendid Etoile Hotel on our 'top of the list' as a hotel selection.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Arc de Triomphe

Huge and beautiful room, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location with arc de triomphe just in front, as well as the underground entrance. I simply advice to have breakfast and dinner outside, as the menu in the hotel it's quite limited and extremely expensive for what you get.

Paid 373 USD for one night including breakfast, which i didn't have as they start serving the breakfast only at 7h30. They just can't serve you before.

Room had 0 view , Not to mention the flood in the bathroom after having a shower.

The hotel is a 100 yards from the Arc and easy walking distance to the Champs Elysee. We had a large Superior Room with a view of the Arc. The hotel is immaculate and the reception desk, breakfast room and room staff are all friendly, efficient and could not make you feel more welcome. They are all fluent in English and clearly trained to help you enjoy your visit to Paris. The benefit of a small hotel is that they know who you are after the first hour and they are happy to solve any issue you might have in or out of the hotel.

Room Tip: Their basic rooms are very small with no view. Well worth the money to upgrade to a better room.
