“Very helpful staff, easy to get around Paris”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

We spent 4 nights here recently and enjoyed our stay. the hotel is in a good location and short walk to the metro, so getting around the city was easy. Our room was not huge but certainly big enough, with a comfortable king sized bed with nice linens. The bathroom was clean and updated, with double sinks and bath/shower combination. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and very helpful, and most of them spoke english for those who don't speak french. I had breakfast only once in the hotel, but it was a good spread, with fruit, breads, pastries, cheeses, ham, eggs, fresh squeezed juices etc. etc. Worth the 14 euro charge I thought.

Room Tip: our room was a superior room that faced the street, but were not bothered by street noise at night...

In August our family of four enjoyed our two-night stay at this hotel. It was a very "French" hotel with: comfortable, clean rooms; pleasant and well-decorated halls, and stylish two-sink bathrooms. Breakfast was bountiful with bacon and eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, pastries, and squeeze your own orange juice. The breakfast rooms were spacious and colorful with a choice of a garden room or street view. One negative is that, as in most hotels that we looked into, we needed to book two rooms for the four of us.

While the hotel was not centrally located among the tourist destinations, it was less than 1/2 hour to walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, or the Opera Garnier (which was very close). The staff was very helpful in planning the day's activities.

To get to the hotel from the airport we opted to take a cab rather than the train just to reduce the hassle. The charge was about 54 euros for the four of us.

One tip: if you take the train to Versailles, remember which train station you got off in Versailles. There are multiple train stations and when it came time to go back to Paris, we couldn't find the right station. We ended up on a different train line that did not return to the station we wanted.

One negative is that the WIFI did not seem to work very well. But the staff was kind enough to let us briefly use their computer to check our emails. We would recommend this hotel for family travel in Paris.

Advantages:
- Location is the selling point: close to the metro with choice of two lines, in most places within 10-15 min
- Covers all basic needs for a night or a weekend
- Clean linens and towels
- Bedroom windows open onto the street, great to get some fresh air
- Breakfast is available but in a city like Paris we opted to find a local bakery (and there are at least 3 within a two block radius!)

Areas for improvement:
- Shower: water is clogged so you stand in a pool of your own filth
- Light mold in some areas of the bathroom
- No iron or ironing board
- No glasses to drink tap water from the bathroom
- Not recommended for long trips where you just want to be spoiled in Paris ;)

We spent 4 days in Paris. This hotel was very comfortable for us, despite small room and bathroom. You have everything you need - coffee, minibar, hairdryer. The hotel is near metro-stations, situated in a nice quarter, with good cafes, restaurants and shops.

We spent 4 nights of our trip at this cozy hotel and were really pleased with everything.

Audrey at the front desk was such a help with everything we needed and there was nothing that was too much to ask for. Thanks again Audrey, for the email answers before our trip to your professional and helpful attitude - something that is really appreciated by your customers.

The rooms were a fair size for Paris and have a very nice bathroom. The hotel is close to a Metro and there is an amazing food market street within about 5 minutes walk, where you can get fresh breakfasts and great foods. Then there are great restaurants scattered all around the area - all within a few minutes walk and all top quality. Its more like a residential area, so it doesnt feel touristy, which is what we wanted.

Definitely a great hotel in a great area of Paris with good value for money!

This was a nice stay and I agree with the good comments made by others. However, with a little effort it could be so much better. How about some better towells and rather more exciting ways to make a hot drink in the room for example? At present, a good choice for a short business stay but a little boderline for those roamntic touches!

Romantic small rooms, friendly&flexible staff who brought us every day the breakfast to our room. Warm light from the lamps and a nice quite quarter. Brown-wooden floor in the bathroom. I wanted to stay longer and recommend it to every one.
