From what I have read about Paris rooms they are all small. This wasn't by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in but it was small. It was clean and bright- the orange accents and features made the room more inviting. The beds were so comfy we almost didn't get out some mornings. The shower head didn't have a holder which was annoying, particularly when trying to wash hair. The room we stayed in was facing the street and it was quite noisy which made it hard to sleep as did the fact the curtains didn't quite close- the 'sun' started shining in quite early. Apart from that it was good value (we got a really good deal) and in a rather convenient location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street- perhaps near the courtyard; we didn't try the breakfast bu...

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Rome. Very quiet area and the beds were the most comfortable since I've been in Europe. We caught up on our sleep whilst in transit. Room is ok in size for a European hotel. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was included and I loved the orange juicer. Fresh juice and a joy to use. Close to metro and the open market around the corner was delightful. The stall holders were so friendly and helpful even tho they couldn't speak English and I can't speak French! The local shops were nearby and there were quite a variety to look at and browse.

This was a great hotel for a short stay. Very stylish (if you love minimalism and hare the antique French look).
Beds were super comfy and all very clean and efficient. No high shower holder was strange omission when so simple to rectify. Rooms small but not a problem. Staff friendly.
Highly recommend the area if you're done with seeing Paris for it's usual attractions. This is a nice area without a street artist or tour bus in sight. Yet it's a nice stroll to reach the usual tourist places if you need to. Great local shops, open air Market, restaurants and cafes. Loved it!

We spent two nights there in early September, 2012 at a cost fo $200 per night (did not include breakfast). This is an old residential building chopped up into rooms, with some great interior decoration work and made into a hotel. The rooms are small - but that's Paris for you. Here are my ratings: Room size= small, can barely walk around the bed with our 2 duffel bags on the floor. Bed = FANTastic; great mattress and luxirous linens. Bathroom- compact, efficient and clean, towel quality was kinda on the low end. TV= great (no time to watch much here). Staff= FANtastic, most helpful and kind and multilingual. Neighborhood= great, very residential and central. Transportatio= great, Metro close by. We got there early since our flight from the US arrived in CDG at 7AM - left the bags and walked around. Checked in later at 3pm. I am not 100% I would go back to this hotel unless the price was super-right ... only due to its size. I have been to Paris numerous times and this room was small altho we just got there and crashed. I do recommend this hotel in every other aspect!

We booked our room with breakfast included. We came to restaurant around 9am and you don't want to see the mess in restaurant. There was not even one table set up for breakfast. All tables full of dirty plates, cups , cutlery, etc.
Anothere negative point was the lobby: Missing TV from the wall.
It's nice hotel but I would not stay there again, shame.

We recently spent 3 nights at this hotel and found it to be as expected from reading the reviews. The room was small, but clean, comfortable, decorated nicely and had everything we needed. The location was very good, being near a a choice of metro stations. There were plenty of places to pick up food on the go (especially breakfast as we didn't try the one at the hotel), lots of bars and shops, and we felt safe walking down the main road at night. The receptionists were helpful and spoke good English, and we were able to leave our luggage at reception on the last day to pick up later. The only cons were that there wasn't an English speaking channel on the TV, and despite being in a quiet area I was woken each night by other guests arriving back late, but it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
