we satyed for 5 nights a week ago and we had a wondferful surprise.
the staff was very helpful, the rooms were big for paris standards with clean and impecable bathrooms.
it was calm and silent, the streets nearby were not crowded with tourist, ans specially rue cler is charming.
the subway is two blocks away and the location is great.
100%.

Room Tip: rooms at the rear are calmer as they look to a small alley.

A fantastic little hotel, especially considering their reasonable prices. It's a very good rate for somewhere that is so near the Eiffel Tower. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the hotel was well heated and the room was large, by Paris standards. The room was perfectly clean, the bed was large, there was a separate toilet to the bathroom and we had the best room, with a view of the Eiffel Tower from the bed.

It's ideally located, a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Metro and some wonderful restaurants and patisseries. They have shutters on the windows so you certainly sleep very well. Our only fault with the hotel is that (And this is quite unfortunate) the radiator started leaking early one morning. It quickly turned into a puddle and we had to call down to reception. It woke us up and they didn't really have a solution as it was a Saturday and they said a plumber wouldn't be available at the weekend. They thought it was our fault, as they'd overloaded the system and as our radiator wasn't on (we hadn't touched it), the pressure had built up causing it to leak. Their solution was a Haribo box and a towel underneath it! A minor inconvenience but it was rather unpleasant and noisy. We asked them that evening if there was anything further they could do and they did their best to fix it with some string, which my boyfriend then re-adjusted after they left so it actually stopped the dripping. They insisted that we should move rooms, four floors lower. Not wanting to lose our view and waste time having to do this, when we were leaving the next morning and wanted to make the most of our last night in Paris. The hotel kindly refunded us the extra cost we'd paid for the view in this room; though there is some lack of communication between their staff and I had to explain this to the lady on reception the next morning, after we had been told it the night before by a different member of staff.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as there are two amazing patisseries right nearby, so you can grab a pain au chocolat and go to sit underneath the Eiffel Tower instead.

Overall, despite the issue with the radiator, I would recommend this hotel as it was ideally located, clean, warm and comfortable at an excellent price. A good find in Paris!

Room Tip: I would definitely pay the extra euros for a room with a view. It was beautiful and you're also high enough to not hear any street noise.

This hotel is small but the rooms are large by Paris standards and very nicely furnished. We stayed there in early December of 2012. It is located in the Rue Cler area and recommended by Rick Steves, We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They all spoke excellent english. The neighborhood has many good restaurants. The Metro station is two blocks from the hotel. The Eiffel Tower is a ten minute walk. Each morning there is an excellent buffet breakfast for 14 Euros The owners wife prepars the pancakes each day. I cannot say enough good about this hotel. This is our Paris hotel. My wife and I visit every 1 1/2 to 2 years and I will returnhere in a heartbeat. The hotel offers a studio apartment and a one bedroom apartment with kitchen for longer stays

Spent 2 nights here on 17 & 18 December 2012. Took a little time to locate in the dark and walking but that was more our fault and lack of direction :-). Room was great in room 55 with view of Eiffel Tower which was awesome clean big enough and great location. Only complaint I have is that I prepaid in July this year and last week the hotel sent an email saying I had to contact immediately with a credit card or my room would be cancelled as I had already left Australia and had no email contact my family got this a panicked asi was in London for a few days and not able to be contacted due to phone company not putting phone in international roaming. Another complaint but not for this hotel. I contact hotel via phone and Facebook and they soughted it out but it was an unnecessary stress I didn't need and they should have checked there records before contacting me and although I got a written apology on Facebook I did think I should have got one one checking as well and that didn't happen. Overall happy and would stay aga

First hotel to which I have been who contacts the traveller in advance to support with activities while there, much appreciated! Otherwise appreciated the location, good breakfast and good service at the front desk. On the breakfast have to especially mention that do not appreciate the attempt of many hotel chains to offer lot of low-quality choices to cater to every traveller, it is so much better for a hotel to go with the alternative of pick what you think can be done well and stick to that - the amount of alternatives was appropriate and quality overall good (although good to keep an eye that everything on offer really is done on the day of serving, just a comment with regard to cooked eggs that had such a ray of black around the yolk that it did not likely come the same morning)! With all the positive still have to mention that the rooms were very small and the view of eiffel that we specifically paid for was really a view of the top of the eiffel tower - not worth paying for.

Room Tip: pay extra for a bigger room if you can afford it.

Bonjour
Thank you for your review.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay overall.
We have taken good note of your remark about boiled eggs and our manager has told the staff to make sure they always only use fresh boiled eggs from the day.
Now about the extra for the view:
It is only a small extra we ask (25 euro) and it is said on our website that the view on the Tower is partial.
Anyway we hope this will not keep you from coming back to us and we will always welcome you.
Have aWonderful Christmas
Very best regards from all the team

Christian
