Hotel is situated near rue Cler (nice-safe neighbourhood) close to the Eiffel tower and metro stations providing easy access to train stations and major sites. We chose to walk to the Champs-Elysees, Notre-Dame Cathedral and major museums. We also walked to the Seine below the Eiffel tower for an evening boat tour - view of the Eiffel tower in the evening is superb!

Hotel room and bathroom were bright (nice decor), clean, and reasonable in size by European norms. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Excellent breakfast room - very good food and service! Front desk service was reasonable - staff seemed a little rushed at times.

We stayed three nights.

We spent three nights here. I would have been happy to spend longer and would happily return.
The location is ideal, within easy reach of Metro stations and in an area well-served by good shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was reasonably large by the standards of Parisian hotels and was spotlessly clean, well-furnished and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good - fresh and appetising. All in all, a good, comfortable base in an attractive area.

Stayed 4 nights in a (I think) Superior room - #42. We pretty much endorse others' good ratings -- spacious room and bed, good room amenities including clear wifi, easy Metro access, helpful English-fluent staff, lots of dining choices within a few minutes' walk (never had the hotel breakfast). And of course, an easy 10 minute walk to that Tower thingy. Our bathroom was very large with good shelf space. Dresser in the bedroom offered good storage, too.

One caution, we had originally booked in May for late August and a few days later decided to change to early September, for which the rate was about 80E/night higher - as good a hotel as this is, it is still on the pricey side, so scheduling flexibility helps. They did honor the Rick Steves discount.

Hotel Relais Bosquet, you get a 5! Why? Location, location, location. If you can see the
Eiffel Tower from your room, you automatically get a 4. The staff made it a 5. I gave a list of restaurants in the area to the desk clerk 2 hours before dining on a Saturday night. He scanned it, picked out one he liked and got us a reservation. Small place, wonderful people, terrific dinner, and not an empty seat.
The area is alive with shops of every kind, restaurants, cafes, and on Saturday afternoon a huge antique flea market in several blocks of closed off streets. It's 2 blocks to the Metro, which is just several stops to the Opera station where you catch the Roissy Bus to the airport. It can't get more convenient than that.
Room price isn't bad considering the location. The next time I'm in Paris, I'll stay there!

Room Tip: The room we had was very small. If you are at all disabled or "super sized" or more than...

We had a four night stay in January 2012 at this hotel.

There is a lot to like about this hotel.

First the positives:
- Room was clean, of a good size for Paris, and had been fairly recently renovated, so that was excellent. As was the bathroom, it was really nice.
- Excellent location. not too far from the metro line, and only a 10 minute off walk from the Eiffel Tower.
- Service was at times excellent. We arrived very early on the day of checkin after an overnight train trip, and not only were they willing to hold our luggage, they also offered us breakfast as well, which was really nice after a long piece of travelling. In addition, there was no problem organising taxis etc for an early departure for myself. Generally, staff were very helpful.

- The biggest downside was that, at this first breakfast, the manager (or a senior member of staff) came to us and said that due to the renovations being undertaken at the time, they would give us breakfast complimentary for our stay (we had not paid for breakfast). This was really nice and a pleasant gesture - or so we thought. On the day of checkout however, I had to leave very early to fly back to the UK, and mum was left to checkout later. At checkout, we were charged for breakfast on each day of our stay. Despite Mum's protests about what we had earlier been said, she ended up paying for breakfast. I emailed the hotel later that day asking for explanation, but have never recieved a reply. So that took the gloss off our stay - which otherwise was really good!

My husband and I spent four nights at the Relais Bosquet and enjoyed the hotel's amenities, cleanliness, gracious staff, fresh flowers in the lobby, small but quality breakfast, location and overall ambience. The only downside was the size of our room, which was smaller than most European rooms - yikes, that's small! We barely had room to move around! That being said, the bed was comfortable and the electronic black out curtains ensured a sound night's sleep. I'd certainly return.

This hotel is in a great location - upscale neighborhood, lots of restaurants, near metro, quiet, very safe and walkable. Room was nice, bathroom good size but the shower was poorly designed - difficult to take a shower. Darkening shades were a great feature. Had a library of materials in the lobby full of tourbooks - nice touch. Breakfast was excellent. Service was good - male staff were friendlier.
