very nice and modern. we had Nespresso machine in our room, which was great.
the location was good. friendly staff. We got our room for 90 euro the first night but the rate increased for the following nights so we had to switch.
but the short stay was pleasant.

Room Tip: corner rooms seem bigger

I stayed in this hotel for one night on my way from Luxembourg to Provence via Paris. Excellent value for money. It is quite conveniently located with 5 minutes walking distance from Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord. The area around railway stations is not very nice, but it is easy to reach city center (20 min walk to Opera and Grand Boulevards or take a metro). The price at Booking com was unbelievably low, below EUR 100, but the hotel offered everything one would need, the room, although tiny, was clean and well equipped, including tea/coffee-making facilities, the WIFI very fast and free. Would definitely recommend to single travellers.

I booked this hotel strictly for travel purposes. I needed to get out early from the Gare du Nord and this fit the bill. 2 blocks around I booked online through a different service but I was still concerened because there are some dicey hotels in the area. This is not a hotel for an American family of four unless you're used to travelling in Europe a lot. The rooms are very small; remind me of Japanese airport hotel rooms. But they are very clean, everything you need is there, the lobby is modern and the staff was polite and helpful. Moreover, the price - if you shop around - was very reasonable. If you pack rack rate, you won't like it so much. Rue Magenta is a busy street but I asked for a room off the street. Not a bad or good area, just sort of neutral. Head southeast on Magenta and you'll hit St. Denis which will take you to the center - about 20 to 30 minutes on foot.

Room Tip: Get a room off the street if possible.

We booked this hotel because we were travelling to/from gare du nord and it was very well located for this. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms, although compact were very clean. They did miss cleaning our room when we arrived back earlier once during our 3 night stay, but this was quickly rectified. The bathrooms and showers were particularly small and there was limited space to hang up towels. We did not try the hotel breakfast as we felt this was overpriced, but there are lots of other cafes and restaurants in the area worth going to.

It is where you want to be when on short trip to Paris...near La Gare, bus stop in front of the gate to take you anywhere in Paris! Very clean, fair price (for Paris!) and all amenities complete and working...including a nice breakfast.
Internet is Good and the staff very helpful ...pls consult them for directions!
For longer stays off season negotiate the rate!
I have enjoyed my stay am sure you ll like it...I highly recommend Livertel!

We were a group of three 21-year old's looking for a clean, cheap place in the center of one of the most expensive cities in the world. Finally after an extensive search, we stumbled upon this property that offered us a decent sized room with breakfast at a great price.

LOCATION : Best aspect of the hotel, it is very close to the Gare Du Nord station which makes it an excellent location in terms of transportation. There are a lot of restaurants/delis/supermarkets in the area too. Quite a lot of pubs and bars close-by that are open till late too.

ROOM : Tiny sized, but expected from a hotel in Central Paris. Beds were comfortable and new.We got a street facing room, the noise from the street was a lot but with the window closed, it was bearable. The A/C is functional and a must while travelling in summer when the temperatures can touch 40C . The only problem was the lack of acoustic blocking from the bathroom, making it a very embarrassing situation for the other guests in the room.

MEALS : Decent breakfast for the price. (EUR12) If you don't want to spend that much, there are deli's close by.

SERVICE : The receptionist's were kind and friendly, providing assistance whenever required. English was spoken by most hotel staff.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard for some quiet.

Ideally situated very close to the Gare de Norde Station making it quick and easy to get to from the airport. Access nearby to both the metro and the open top bus route but a 20 minute trip into the city centre. Clean, modern hotel. Decent sized bedroom and a superb shower! Breakfast buffet OK and very helpful/friendly staff who spoke good English. Good value for money.
