The location was quite good, with the metro and the RER close, the room, we had booked a triple room, was big enough for the three of us and clean (they even changed towels for our two-nights stay) and the price was ok for Paris. The elevator was tiny and the reception room was a little small but no problem with that. The staff was quite friendly and around the hotel there are restaurants, cafes and two supermarkets.
Very good choice at least for us staying in Paris for three days.

Average hotel. Location is very good, metro station right across the street with pedestrian crossing so it's as fast as can be, very nice area with great restaurants (Jardins Contini, Cafe Daguerre). Hotel is very small with small lobby and tiny elevator

The hotel is just across the road from a metro station. Restaurants close by. Staff helpful. The room and bathroom very small but clean. The beds very comfortable. Breakfast was fine.
The hotel was good value - the surrounding area was safe.

We enjoyed or stay,we stayed two nights and found it very convenient, close to the metro so getting around was easy, the hotel was clean and comfortable if a little tired looking. The staff were very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Overall the hotel was very good value and the surrounding area had a bit going on as well, with a few restaurants and bars.

This was the very first city on our European agenda, which means this was the first hotel we stayed in. Montparnasse isn't the sexiest arrondisement in Paris - let's just put it that way - but it's also pretty cool. I was a little worried about the location because it is so far off the beaten path, but the metro stop was literally right across the street from the hotel which made it uber convenient. Also, the street it's on was great; lots of great restaurants and wine bars (although they closed a bit early) and a fabulous little street market reminiscent of Rue Cler, just a few streets down!

(Fun tip) If you go to the street market, pop into the olive oil store and get those yummy little nougets with olive and almonds in them.

Anyway, back to the hotel. The hotel is very small, which means the rooms are teeny tiny. The elevator is so small only one person and a piece of luggage could fit at a time. However, the room was very clean and very warm (it was February) and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for something fancy, this is NOT the place for you. But if you are looking for something that is affordable and close to transportation, that is clean and safe, then this is perfect for you.

Even though it wasn't the most up-to-date or fancy place, I would stay here again because of how affordable it was.

Enjoy!

The hotel itself was ok, the rooms were ok. The staff was unhelpful and was rude. I would definately not stay here again. As because you do normally have some interaction with the staff at a hotel, it's not worth it. In all the places we went to including restaurants and attractions we didn't encounter anyone else that was rude. It just seemed the staff couldn't be bothered, not even answering simple questions.

We stayed only one night in this hotel, only to catch a train too Brussels the next day. I don't imagine spending more than 3 days in this tiny hotel! Well, for Paris standars I think it was ok, but the room was very very small, the bathroom tiny, and the shower even more tiny!. Also in the elevator, only 2 people could enter for it's size!
The room and bathroom were clean, a little old though.

The best thing was the location, just in front of the metro station and a couple of blocks away from the RER B station which makes it very convenient to go to CDG airport or Gare du Nord for taking the trains.
The neighborhood seemed very safe at night and it has plenty of shops, supermarkets and places to eat nearby.

Front desk were very friendly
