This is not a luxury hotel, but a rather decent budget hotel, sits very ideally on the main rue kleber, 5 mins from arch de triomphe and 5 min from the eiffel tower/trocadero.

The hotel staff were really friendly and spoke English too.

As a whole you really cant find faults with this 3 star hotel, the only thing in general with France is they like their traditional tiny rooms - I suppose its part of their build work.

Room Tip: Room 201 - hidden room - big room with Jacquzi

First of all, dont expect it to be a magnificient 5 star hotel. It is a boutique hotel with special decorations and located 10 mins walk to the arch de triumph!!! Although they didnt provide coffe machine, you can ask the waiter to give you some hot water in case you want to drink tea/coffe at night. Service is really good!

Location:
Very well placed, within walking distance of the Champs-Elysées and close to the metro line 6. The 16th arrondissement is very pretty but unfortunately quite sterile, for shops, restaurants, etc the Champs is pretty much the only option we found.

Rooms:
Very nice. The only complaint I had was that they were a little small, even for Paris. This is probably because the bathroom was bigger than usual, we had a corner bath with a jacuzzi :-), and a balcony running outside the window (second- and fifth-floor rooms can have these). The decor was quite nice, a mix of traditional Louis-XIV and more contemporary. We didn't find the room noisy, but then we were there over Christmas, all the local residents were on holiday. The bed wasn't great but bearable, and the TV is decent.

No complaints with the service, staff were nice and polite, even though we often came back late and had to get them to open up for us. There is a small bar/restaurant thing downstairs that we didn't really use. It's a small Paris hotel, we didn't expect or ask for gym, room service, large rooms etc. The hotel charges 19€ for late check-out. I see this more and more these days, I don't really like the idea but we ended up taking advantage of it and at least it was quite cheap.

Overall we would probably stay again if we needed a hotel in the 16th.

The location of the hotel is of course a pro, very directly located to the main sites of Paris who are almost in walking distance. The hotel gives the impression of a renovation of some years ago and they try hard with decoration ect to give it some charme. However the room we had was incredibly tiny, even with the bathroom featured with a Jacuzzi. The real tough thing was the bed - completely worn out.

We spent three nights in this wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. The location is just perfect for all the main sites in Paris. We spent our first night in a room (Room 204) overlooking Rue de Beloy, which we found somewhat noisy, even though it had a balcony we liked. We therefore changed to a quieter room (502) and found it a much better room for a quiet night. Please keep in mind however that noise travels easy because of thin walls.

We had 'express breakfast' for EUR7 per person and found that this was sufficient. The breakfast was essentially continental in style. You can however order the more substantial 'buffet' breakfast for EUR14 per person. The staff were very friendly. An added plus was Wifi access in our room, which was included in the price. It worked perfectly.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Go for Room 502 if you do not want street noise.
