This hotel is at a perfect location if you plan to explore Paris using public transport. It is about a 10 min walk from the RER B station(St Michel/Notre Dame) and about a 2 min walk to the metro station (Maubert/Mutualite).

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room is teeny tiny but I was expecting that as I had read previous reviews. We were just a couple with no kids and we really did not need a lot of space. The bathroom was decent and the room was clean. The week we were in Paris it was quite hot and thankfully the ac was working well. The internet signal in the room was quite weak. It was okay for surfing but if we wanted to Skype or use Facetime we would just go down to the lobby.
Our room was very quiet and we were able to sleep well. The staff was very friendly and everyone spoke english.

What really sold me on the hotel is the location. If you are looking for luxury this is not the best choice for you. But if what you are looking for is a quiet, clean hotel in the heart of the city with easy access to public transport and major tourist spots go ahead and you will not regret it.

Writing this from my room. Now that my partner has gone out I can sit down in the one chair in our so called "deluxe" room. The experience started upom check in when we realised our 50 sqm room (supposedly) was in fact one tiny room with an in-room balcony/sleeper. Nowhere to put the luggage unless you carry them up the steep steps/ladder. A 50 cm railing ment we had to keep hold of the kids at all time. When explaining our concerns to the manager he turns and just walks away. Later in the evening we ask for a second chair and are told i need to ask the manager in the morning. We then requet some ice. The guy in the reception has a near break down and runs across the street to a neighbouring hotel to bortow ice. Apparently they have had no ice in the hotel for a full week. In fact the receptionst urges me to write as him telling the manager will change nothing!? He explains how people have constantly been complaining about faulty air cons etc without anything being done. I have no idea how they managed to get away with 4 stars as the essentials are not even in place. Let alone the service. We feel like we are part of some scam here we have paid 650 euros or 2 night for a room that is not worth even half! Looking forward to getting out of this hole!

Room Tip: Change the manager or you will have serious trouble!!!!

Just got back from Paris,Villa Pantheon after 3days there.Value for money, great quiet area just a street away from the really busy areas of the Latin quarter, within walking distance of the metro and main rer b to Charles de Gaulle airport, staff are very friendly and courteous and offer lots of help and information, rooms are not big but you only sleep and shower here(well that's all we did!) So it was more than adequate and served its purpose well with a comfortable clean bed and strong shower....would definitely recommend and stay here again! It ain't the Ritz or Hilton but then if that's what you expect you'd be paying a lot more!

Stayed here with my daughter from 16th to 19th June. The hotel was lovely, as were the very friendly and helpful staff. Our room (114) was on the ground floor and was very comfortable apart from the air conditioning being out of order! The hotel is very well situated between the 5th and 6th arrondissements, therefore short walking distance to where we wanted to go. This trip was to celebrate my 70th birthday and as we had visited Paris many times before we did not want to do much sightseeing except for a river trip from Pont Neuf. We enjoyed some lovely restaurants - Le Petit Zinc is my favourite! We took the metro one day but there were too many steps and not enough escalators which was too difficult for me so after that we walked! No problems at all. Would recommend this hotel and hope to return.

We intended to stay here in February 2013. We arrived early evening, but were immediately told on arrival that there was a problem with the room and, as we were "the last to check in" that day, that we would have to move hotel's for the night. The receptionist said a taxi was one it's way, that it would all be taken care of, and that would could return the next morning. However, the replacement hotel was about half an hour out of the city centre, and we were not prepared to lose a whole night/morning moving hotels/in an area of Paris we did not know. It then became apparent that we were by no means the "last to check in" that day, as several other couples showed up soon after and were seen straight to their rooms. The receptionist insisted that the hotel was full, but there was no evidence of this, as more and more people arrived. We refused to move and the manager refused to speak to us - we were "not his problem" in his words. The receptionist was very unfriendly and we ended up leaving to find another hotel. We are familiar with this scam: The hotel gets to send us to another, cheaper hotel for a night, citing a "problem with the room" - the other hotel gets paid for a night when it would otherwise have an empty room, and the original hotel gets to make money by overbooking. Avoid at all costs!

My husband arrived a couple of days before I arrived with our teenaged daughter. At arrival we were greeted by Ali, very professional and charming. We waited in the lobby as they were finishing with our room. The lobby has the most cushiony and comfy seats. We were then escorted to our room. The room was perfect in size. I must add that the a/c was not working, thank god for the breeze in the evening? The location was just perfect!, the room did not have an iron /ironing board. Please stop by the Villa. It was well worth it.

Room Tip: Room 353 was just perfect!
