We spent two nights in this hotel, which were meant to be two "nice" nights after spending some other nights in a cheaper hotel in a different area. We did not spend much time in the hotel, but we did have some problems with the heating in the room and the breakfast – which we had been looking forward to all week – was horrible.
The breakfast area was horribly mismanaged, and the food on offer was hardly appetising. The level of food at this hotel would have been unacceptable in Britain – let alone France.

If you like stone cold eggs and sausages, stewed coffee, stale bread, day old salad and tainted orange juice for breakfast, uninformative staff and a long walk to anywhere, this is the hotel for you. The hotel was recommended by our local travel agent, who we no longer trust. Billed as a four star hotel, there would be riots if food this bad was served up at a motorway services cafe. Underground car parking unsuitable for family sized cars. You would struggle to get a BMW 3 series around the tight ramps and could not leave your car once parked due to the narrowness of the spaces. Avoid like plague.

well, the hotel is nowhere near four stars.
the location isn't too convenient for travelers. nice, safe neighborhood though
the furnitures were old. at least the bed sheets were clean.
the service was alright. mediocre at best
breakfast wasn't fitting for a supposedly four star hotel either.
i experienced a black out during my stay. they said lights would come back on in an hour but it didn't.
and the fire alarm went off at 7:10 AM. people came running out naked. absolute chaos
they said it was a mistake and that was it.
and even though we had hung a sign on the door saying "don't disturb," the manager of the hotel barged into our room in the middle of the night while i was sleeping. i still don't know why he came in. he didn't offer any explanation, he just said sorry and left. it was deeply disturbing. the housekeeper came in too while the sign was up. i thought we could expect more privacy than that.
i wouldn't recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a luxurious stay. and don't get fooled by the pictures you see on their website, they are highly misleading.

Room Tip: you might get caught in a fire alarm while you're in the shower, so beware. you may also experi...

This is a no frills small boutique hotel in Paris that is a great place to have a base to operate from for a good value price. Granted, no frills. But hey, you are in Paris. You shouldn't be spending too much time in the hotel if you have any mobility left in you. It's a couple of blocks from the nearest metro station but as long as you can walk a few blocks you will be fine. Not the place to make short trips back to the hotel in between museums and outings but we enjoyed the stay. We have since stayed in the Isle de St. Louis and of course, the convenience of that location can't compare, but this is a good option to consider.

The Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel is outside of the tourist areas of Paris in what I like to call Paris for Parisians. The XIX arrodisment is an elegant area between downtown Paris and the Bois de Boulogne. Elegant apartments and the hotel in the middle of them. Don't get me wrong, a few stops on the metró will get you right in the middle of the bustling tourist activity, and a short walk will offer you magnificent views of the Tour Eiffel. Still, you will be out of all the noise if you also plan to sleep at night. Additionally, you will have rooms that, small compared to American hotels are still very large compared to Paris tourist areas hotels.
