“Newly renovated”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

Stayed here for a week in mid April 2014. The hotel was still putting in the final touches to its renovation. The room we had looked spanking new because it was just renovated. It was small but the bed was comfortable and it had windows opening to the front street. Some other reviewers complained about street noise but we experienced none with the windows closed although we were on the 2nd floor. We weren't in the room during most of the day so I cannot comment on whether noise is a problem during the day.

Location wise, it is quite convenient to get around the city. Attractions like the Sacre Couer, Montmartre and Moulin Rouge are within walking distance. The closest metro station, St Georges, is 250m away. There are many eating places and a Carrefour City nearby. There is some activity within the vicinity but not exactly bustling which suited us just fine.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They also spoke very good English.

My wife 12 year old son and I styed here from the 15th to the 19th of April.

The lobby was being refurbished but it didn't bother us much. We got a room (601) on the 6th floor, which was quite large for Paris standards, I must say. It seemed that the rooms had recently had a face lift, and a nice job too!! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms (a bit small) but nice and clean.

The English speaking stuff, very helpful indeed , helping us out with direction and touristy info.

The breakfast -Though not a large variety, was not bad at all a mix of French and Continental.

Just a 5 minute walk from The Saint Georges metro station and a 10 minute ride on it to the center of Paris. The location is very good, there are a number of places to eat at the end of the block. A 15 minute walk the to The Basilica of Sacred Heart and the Moulin Rouge - in the Montmartre district of Paris.

We would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose a lower floor, one day the elevator broke down with people stuck inside!!!

We have stayed in this hotel for many years and can only say it is just getting better. The staff are very helpful. The hotel itself has had a total refurbishment and is much improved. The location is perfect within walking distance of everything. Would recommend to anyone and will return soon.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights in March. The hotel is in a great location, 2 mins walk from metro, 10 min walk from Montmartre and moulin rouge and plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. We were out late every night in bars walking distance from the hotel. Our room (403) was just perfect. Good size, newly refurbished with lovely bathroom and great shower! Hotel reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We never ate breakfast here as we liked to get up and out early and try different places. The reception was still under renovation when we were there but we didn't notice ( no noise at all). From this hotel you can get to the other side of Paris in 15mins on the fab metro system. Buy a book of 10 tickets (1 per journey) for around €10, this lasted us the full 4 days as we walked a lot! After exploring most of Paris this is definitely the area and hotel we would stay in again. Cute, clean, cosy Parisian hotel. Perfect!
P.s I am 30, fussy and love to be staying where things are going on.

This hotel is small but very nice. Rooms are big, which is refreshing in Paris. The breakfast area is quaint - cozy and lovely. Though they don't serve a large variety, what they do serve is nice. Location of the hotel is excellent - within 10 minutes walk you can get into Pigalle, where the Moulin Rouge theatre is. Opera is within 15 mins walk and the metro station is just 2 mins away.

This hotel is recently renovated. Our room was a quite reasonable size with a well laid out bathroom and even a work desk. The decor is quite different to the bland corporate hotels and interesting. The staff were always friendly with whatever we asked for with our lack of French language skills. There are a number of restaurants in the local area that are worth visiting.

A small and nice Hotel located centrally in the 9th arrondissement. The hotel is completely renovated, and appears very clean and cozy. Service-minded and attentive staff. The rooms are quite small, but so are the hotels in Paris. The bed was very good.
The hotel is located in a small street and the surrounding area is very quiet. Almost no traffic. There are many local restaurants and shops in the area that also the locals uses. Not too many "tourist traps".

This is my third time in Paris, and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at.

Short walk to the metro which quickly takes you around Paris. From the hotel to the Eiffel Tower we used approx. 15 minutes using the metro. Easy access by metro from the airport (about 45 min - Charles de Gaulle)

Highly recommended.
