“Great location in Paris”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

My wife and I spent 4 nights here in July. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The spiral staircase to our room was a bit tough to navigate with our large suitcases. The main selling point of this hotel is its location about two blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. Two Metro stations are also close by. We would stay here again.

My wife and i stayed here for 3 nights while enjoying our first trip to paris. The room (45) was very clean modern and comfy, yes the rooms are small but this is the norm for paris and there's that much to do in paris you wont spend that much time in the room anyway. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and spoke very good english, the welcome pack was handy with a great map for getting about ( i would recommend the green tourist bus 31 euro each but has four routes to let you see all of paris and you can hop on and off as much as you want to see all the attractions, ask at reception). We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was ok to fill up on before you go out walking, the location is great just 5 min walk from the arc de triomphe and champs elysees and around 30 - 40 mins to the eiffel tower and the louvre. To get from the airport jump on the airfrance bus green line 2 ( 29 euro each i think) but goes straight to the arc de triomphe and the hotel is no more than a 5 min walk from there and go back at the same spot to get back to CDG airport. All in all we had a fab trip in a wonderful hotel with great staff the only little thing and it is a little thing the wi-fi didnt work while we were there but there is a computer in reception to use so all was ok. Would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting paris.

Stayed here for 3 nights while over to watch the Tour De France final stage, so obviously, being a Brit I probaby could have slept in a field and thought it was magic after the fantastic result ;-)
But, credit where it's due. This hotel was perfect for us. Very friendly helpful staff, welcome pack included a handy map. Room was nice, bed was comfy, breakfast was plentiful, and plenty of choice.Didn't use the WIFI (I'm on holiday) but it's there if you need it, as was free use of the computer in reception.
Location is superb as has been said before many times. Lots of places within walking distance.
Can recommend the Air France shuttle bus to get to/from the airport. Runs about every 20 mins and is definitely the easiest way to get to this hotel. It's just a 5 minute walk from the bus to the hotel door.
Never did find the restaurant they recommend in the hotel blurb (Kambodia), but while looking for it stumbled on one called Oscars which was superb (just don't ask me how to get there!).
All in all, a fantastic long weekend we won't forget!

Room Tip: We were in room 35 (back of the hotel). No view, but very quiet.

Nice Hotel, modern decoration. Rooms are compact but that is Paris. Fantastic location. Only a few minutes walk to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees. Lots of good restaurants nearby (Try "Cesar" a nice Italian just across the main road). Very attentive service especially the reception staff. Will definitely return. Well done!!

we live ourselves 14 years in paris and know how difficult it is to find a fine hotel for a reasonable price for friends and family. this is the one!
we booked 3 rooms in this hotel, which has been very nicely redecorated.
it's location is unique , very close, walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, ao.
rooms are very comfortable, clean, great beds.
above anything the service is very very very friendly!!!!

and believe me, you won't find anything comparable for this price.

We only stayed for one night but I wish it could have been more. The room was clean and well decorated and the bed was fabulous. Good size bath and fab products. The reception staff were lovely but best of all is the location - 5 mins from the Arc De Triomphe.

I am on another tour of Europe on business. My client booked me into this hotel. It has a Tripadvisor 'Recommended' sticker on the door, although I can't imagine anybody recommending this. They painted the place black and red in an attempt to turn it into a 'boutique hotel', but it is in fact your typical Paris mediocre hotel where either you or your suitecase fit in the room! The wash basin is 20cm in diameter. At 185€ a night + 13€ for your usual french coffee and croissant, it is very expensive. If you can't avoid coming to Paris, at least avoid this hotel!

Dear Sir
This is a very severe opinion that you decided to post, but we do respect your personal opinion about our Boutique Hotel.
The purpose of this reply is to relativize your judgment:
- the hotel was entirely renovated 2 years ago, not only "painted" as you mention it.
- the size of the room is nothing more or less than parisian standards.
- decoration tastes are not universal...
- as for our breakfast, i would like to precise that a full buffet is served with pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruits, eggs, fruit salad, dry fruits, cereals, organic jam and honey, tomatoes and pickles, special breads and baguettes ...: that is more than just "coffee and croissant", and that is an objective information.
The many comments published on this website and others show that our hotel is very much appreciated. If the style of our hotel is not to your taste, we consider it as a personal and subjective opinion.
