We stayed for a long weekend with our 2 kids, aged 20 and 22, in a suite. It was a good break for the four of us. It is not a fantastic hotel, but it suited our purpose perfectly: honest price, spacious & quiet room and very good location. I particularly liked that the suite had big windows that I could open, get fresh air, see the street and people passing by.
The only disappointment was breakfast, but we also enjoyed having breakfast at the nearby french cafes. Much nicer. Thank you Hotel du Roy and thank you Paris for a lovely family weekend that we will always cherish !

Booked via internet and didn't know what to expect from this hotel. None of us (3 mature females) had been to Paris before. Very easy to walk from the Metro station to hotel. Location was ideal -could not have planned it any better. Walking distance to most major attractions and what seemed like a very safe area. Upon arrival we were very pleased to be upgraded to a 2 level suite with 2 bathrooms. Definately not what we expected in Paris. Everyone warned us about the small rooms. Not at Residence du Roy Hotel ! Enjoyed lovely breakfast which we didnt even know was included with our fee - imaculantly clean breakfast room with croissants, coffee, very nice..

We have stayed here 2x now and it's a perfect hotel for us. For one, it's on a super quiet street right off about 2 blocks from the Champs street. They upgraded our room without us asking - maybe b/c we've stayed here before. We almost had a suite. It had a huge living room, a separeate bedroom and a beautiful bath and shower. The bathtub was huge and I took a bath each night we came home and soothed my aching feet. Lots of walking is Paris. They even had towel warmers in the bathroom. A nice lobby area that has a small bar so you can have a drink before bed. They do have a breakfast area - but I've never done that, I prefer to roam the streets of Paris and eat outside at a cafe. The front desk staff was super nice and very helpful with anything you needed. As for the first time we stayed there, a few years ago, we didn't have a suite and the room was still perfect for us, so whether you are in a suite or a regular room - it will be perfect!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet since it's not on a main road. Windows open so you can get fresh air if yo...

I booked the hotel via the internet and dealt with a very competent and helpful lady by the name of Jolanda. Unfortunatetly we did not get to meet her as she was on leave at the time of our stay.
On entering the hotel it doesn't seem that "Wow" but the reception service was great and our room was perfect. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. It had a Kingsize bed then a seperate lounge with a large sleeper couch. We are a family of 4 and my 18 year old son cannot sleep on a sleeper sofa with my 14 year old daughter. Jolanda very kindly organsied another "rollaway" bed in the room for my daughter.
There was still ample room for us to move around. 2 small balconies overlooked the street.
Fluffly white towels, crisp white linen.
Breakfast in a function room as they are renovating the restaurant.
Basis breakfast but good and fresh.
Great place to be whilst in Paris
Location Fantastic. Walk out the door and go left you are at the River Siene, which leads to a magnificent walk along the river towards the Eiffel Tower. Walk out the door and turn right, 2 blocks and you are on the des Champs-Élysées . All the exclusive boutiques Dior, Channel, Louis Vitton just a stones throw from the hotels entrance.
Loved our stay, thank you

Room Tip: For a family of 4 the 1 bedroom suite is ample. Enough space for all.

I satayed with my myfe and two teenage kids in this hotel. It was a good experience. The rooms are average, with a apartment that has two bedrooms and a lovely balconi. Not enough privacy as any sound from one room escapes to another. Breakfast goes as far as 11:30h! The internet service was very bad but free of charge. Reception and concierge was very efficent, but door man usually was out of the building. No regreats and the price was quite fair. The place needs a fitness center as soon as possible.

Our first time to Paris while visiting our son studying abroad for a semester. The location for shopping, getting to the river, restaurants, and other famous sites was a perfect distance for walking or for just getting to the metro. Could not have been better!
