We stayed here for a romantic weekend away, and the hotel did just the job. A little out from the centre of Paris, but with the Montparnasse station close by, gave an easy route into the centre by a number of metro lines.
We asked for a room on a high level, with a nice view, and was given an 'upgrade' to the 9th level. I say 'upgrade', I think this was just down to it being a newly refurbished room. Great view over the left bank of Paris, and very quiet. The refurb, wasn't of the best standard on the finishing touches, paint had been roughly applied to the walls, and the sliding doors of the wardrobe. But the bed was huge, and very comfortable. Decent size tv, and a very clean and modern bathroom. Robes, slippers and a decent standard of toiletries were available in the room.
Plenty to offer in and around the hotel, a supermarket only a few yards away, making it more affordable for the little extra drinks you need after hours.
We had a fantastic meal at Pizza Roma, just down the road from the hotel ( just before Gaite metro ). Excellent value and quality of food.
Very enjoyable stay, and would definately go back.More
