Ever go to a hotel where you seem to be missing out on something, that was my experience at the Mayfair. Started with a requested early arrival checkin. We waited in the lobby waiting for 3 hours while at least 3 other parties arrived and were immediately shown to their room. A request for an internet code took 2 hours. We told they were hustling to make up a room...once we arrived, it smelled as if someone dropped a perfume bottle...latter, as the smell dissipated, discovering we were in a smoking room. And the list could go on.

This hotel was a surprise and I believe it is the best choice among the boutique properties in central Paris. It has the perfect size to be a cozy hotel, while it delivers a very professional service, yet warm and anticipating. Rooms look like they have been very recently renovated and match a great combination of confort and style. They represent the true Parisian atmosphere!

The location of the hotel is just perfect, allowing us to walk to many interesting places to visit, which is not easy in big cities like Paris. Also, the neighbourhood is full of small restaurants where you can find the all kind of gastronomy.

I would suggest you spend at least one of the evenings having a drink at the hotel, as the atmosphere and attention at the bar is truly unique.

The location of the hotel is perfect, our room was cosy and clean and we found the staff really helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. We'll come back at the Mayfair and won't hesitate to recommend it to our friends !

The Mayfair is PERFECTLY LOCATED to everything in the heart of Pairs. A few short minutes to Champs-Elysées, Rue De Rivioli, Louvre, Notre Dame, Galleries Lafayette and all of the hot spots. You would be hard pressed to find a better location to use as a base for exploring the City of Lights. Friendly staff, comfortable and very reasonable prices make this a GREAT CHOICE for a Paris stay. A little off the main street but that makes it even better as you as insulated from the street noise. So you get the best of both worlds, calm serene nights with easy access to the high energy of the most elegant city in the world. Apologies for the delay in posting this review.

My son (14) and I stayed here for a weeks holiday in October half term and we had a great time. The staff were lovely from the moment we arrived (even though we were too early for check in) they looked after us all the time, Sonia on reception is soooo friendly and helpful and speaks about 5 languages - (how can anyone be that lovely, friendly, hard working and talented too!) Ajit who looks after the bar, serves in the restaurant and lots more too - is also absolutely lovely, he served us at the bar and stayed and chatted to us too and told us about Paris, as did Sonia, and he made us feel welcome all the time and he works really hard too - always - but never stops smiling and making you feel happy! Sonia and all the staff at the Mayfair told us about places to eat and made reservations if we needed them and told us about places that we did not know about, they asked about our days when we came back from si9ght seeing all day! they lent us umbrellas! The location cannot be beaten and I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Paris! you just cannot believe how close you are to absolutely everything (on foot! as well as by metro) and definitely get a 3 or 5 day metro pass if you are here for a few days, you collect them from a travel/tour booking place about 2 minutes from the hotel (everything seems about 2 minutes from THIS hotel!) and the metro if amazing, easy, fast and reliable. We loved Paris,. we loved staying at the Mayfair too, and when you go there - DO talk to the staff, they can really make it special for you here!
