Reviewed March 30, 2014

This hotel is conveniently located in Montparnasse very close to the Montparnasse — Bienvenüe metro stop. The hotel is quiet, located on a short side street, and although there are several floors and the hotel was fully booked, we rarely ran in to other guests. With Le Littre as our starting point, we walked over to the Eiffel Tower, which is admittedly a long walk, but do-able. I understand that some of the rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower but ours, alas, did not, as it was on the second floor.

We did not upgrade our room to include breakfast, as the hotel is sited within less than a block's walk of several excellent cafes and a Brioche Dorée.

As for the room, it was spacious and comfortable. We were traveling with three people, so our room included a queen-sized bed and, in a separate room, a pull-out sleeper sofa. The bathroom was enormous as well and everything was clean and well-appointed. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or to stay there again.

Having booked this hotel on the basis of previous reviews, I was delighted with our stay. Everything was wonderful and doesn't really need repeating. In the spirit of adding to travellers knowledge, the local metro needs comment. The local station (Montparnasse Bienvenue) is huge, located under a shopping centre and even .has moving walkways The hotel is located from Sortie 8. However this exit is not marked from all lines but is easiest reached from Line 12. If you arrive on another line head towards sortie 5 and sortie 8 should be found. Also don't forget the travel kettle if you are used to tea/coffee in your room. Because of the extremely high standard to which the rooms are equipped, we can only assume that this facet of UK accommodation is not popular in France.

Dear Madam, dear Sir,
Thanks a million for sharing your feelings about your stay at Le Littré!
We would also like to thank you for giving more information regarding the metro station Montparnasse bienvenue which, as you mentioned, gathers 4 main metro lines, heading towards main Parisian monuments and places.
Indeed, we do not provide in room kettles for security reasons, but please kindly note that for your next stay with us, you can ask the front Desk for a kettle and we can provide it to you anytime you need it.
Feel free to stay connected to Le Littre Spirit on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ for any Paris destination and hotel updates!
We look forward to welcoming you again and remain at your entire disposal for any question you may have!
Kind regards,

This being my first time to Europe, I have to say Hotel Le Littre's staffs professionalism and friendliness has made my stay a memorable one. From all its complimentary amenities, very well-sized rooms, business area, breakfast room, and its well appointed central location...no wonder my travel agent booked this lovely hotel for me. What was most memorable was the detail on the second night when coming back to the room from a full day of exploring...a bottle of Vittel, macaroons, and a lovely letter from my travel agent! I would like to recognize your whole staff for being awesome! I will definitely stay at this hotel when I visit Paris again, and will recommend others to stay at your hotel! Thanks again.

Location of this hotel is very good and lots of restaurants are nearby. This can not be a 4 star hotel from any aspect. breakfast is not good at all. rooms are small and old furnished. Monteparness metro station is quite near to hotel. The attendant Mr. Upul is very friendly and guided us for many places. The exact location is opposite street of MCD.

Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to thank you sharing your experience with us as it is the only way we have to target our weaknesses and then improve our quality of service :-)
Thank you for highlighting our location which is indeed very good as for shopping, restaurants and nightlife as well as the easy access to any Parisian monuments departing with the metro or bus from Montparnasse area.
Regarding our room size, I would like to inform you that our smallest room (in the Standard category) is already 20 m² and in Paris you can find hotel rooms by far smaller than this!
We are actually working on some of our room categories but all of them (in Standard, Superior and Deluxe categories) were all very recently renovated with light colors and new bathrooms; please kindly check the pictures on our website.
We duly noticed your remark regarding breakfast and please be sure that our general management team is actively working on it in order to improve the choice and quality served at our full hot and cold buffet breakfast.
Needless to say, all our team (and Upul :-)) remains at your entire disposal for any further information you may require!
With warm regards,
Cristèle & France, your devoted guest relation team.

For the first time in awhile, i used a travel agent for this trip, and she is going to get a thank-you for suggesting Hotel Le Littre. We were upgraded to an unusually large room, with three windows out onto the street and a pretty impressive bathroom. The location is pretty good, near the Montparnasse district which has lots of choice of decent restaurants. The hotel was pretty quiet, reasonable, clean, staff was friendly, and the decor in our room was quite nice. I was impressed and would recommend this hotel unreservedly. The continental breakfast (included) was quite good, too.

Dear Mark,
What an amazing title :-) You can also show your travel agent your impressive TripAdvisor review!!!
I am sure she will be very proud of herself for making your stay in Paris a most enjoyable one!
Indeed, the room you probably were upgraded in is one of our Deluxe Family rooms with street view and a great luminous bathroom! This room type is perfect for a family up to two adults and two children under 12 years old.
For any good restaurant recommendations, you know you can ask our front desk team anytime you need, it will be a real pleasure to give you our most preferred and private addresses :-)
Needless to say Mark, all our team remain at your entire disposal for any assistance you may require and we wish you a great day!!

We found this Hotel Le Littre to be totally charming; welcoming and memorable. It was the smiling faces of the staff and constant attention to our needs which really made it so .Eric , Reception , Bar Man and restaurant staff were always 'in attendance' and anticipating our every need. When I lost my precious gold bracelet in the Paris Metro, Eric liaised with me and offered to visit the Lost and Found well after my return to Adelaide, South Australia. Such devotion to duty and service is extremely rare these days.
Please visit; preview the Hotel video and see for yourself the unique nature not only of this hotel but also of the highly professional and personalized service at work.We also highly recommend the luncheon cruise on the River Seine: again suggested and booked for us from the Hotel Le Littre Reception. Mille mercis.

Room Tip: Use the Hotel Video to preview and choose a room according to your personal needs and budget.

This was a very nice place to stay. The staff was courteous and helpful whenever we had a question. The breakfast room was also very nice. The location is relatively quiet, we were never concerned about arriving late to the hotel. It was near a major metro hub which made getting around Paris easy.
