A truly wonderful meal that was well worth the price. Very expensive, but the food, wine, service and decor made it a fantastic experience for our limited time in Paris. We wished we could have eaten more!

Dear Guest,

First at all, I would like to thank you very much for having taken the time to share your nice comment on Trip Advisor

What a great pleasure to read that you enjoyed your moment in our Michelin starred restaurant Le Diane!

Next time you will be in Paris, do not hesitate to visit our mythical restaurant Le Fouquet’s on the Champs-Elysées. For example come to try a Cold fish sheperd’s pie with watercress cream created by the Executive Chef Jean-Yves Lauranguer (Meilleur Ouvrier de France).

We are looking forward to welcoming again.

Best regards,

My wife and I went to Le Diane on a recent trip to Paris and what a delightful evening meal we had. We opted for the 6 course menu and all dishes were rivaling for excellence. We obviously preferred one above the other, but in general it was exquisite.
A couple of comments though:
1/ if you google "le diane", google maps will show address details at 46 Place Georges Guillaumin, which is near but not at the Fouquet's Hotel. I only took a note of the address (not checking the map which indicates correct location), so it took us a while to arrive to the real address
2/ inside the restaurant, the temperature was too hot. On asking the waiter, he informed us that if they turn on the A/C, it would be too cold. I guess this is something that has to be addressed.
3/ some of parisian top restaurants (Le Diane is for sure one of them) insist on having jacket for men. Le Diane has no formal dress code request, which is good, giving it a more relax atmosphere.
Le Diane, though an expensive experience, it definitely recommendable if you want to shoot the stars for one night in Paris.

This meal was truly outstanding. My wife and I dined here on our honeymoon. We ordered the 6 course (which ended up being 10) tasting menu with paired wine. Fantastic presentation that was so meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. The service was nearly perfect, the only thing was that i think our waiter seemed personally offended that my wife refused the cheese course. By that time, after i think 6 courses she needed a rest. But other than that the food was the best I've ever had and the service was fine dining to a T. I have worked in several fine dining restaurants in The States and Le Diane blows all of them out of the water. I don't usually drop 450 euros on a meal but it was worth it!

We were there for our anniversary. Beautiful, classy setting. We chose the tasting menu which proved to be an excellent showcase for the creative chef. Every dish was a work of art that lived up to its presentation. The service was superb, informative and friendly. No stuffiness about any of the staff! I am giving 4 of 5 stars because of the obvious mechanisms to bump up the bill. If you say "yes" to suggestions of wine and champagne, cheese and coffee it will double your bill. One knows how much the tasting menu will cost but you don't know how much all the other "extras" are until you get the bill.
