My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant in La Germain while trying our best to eat at something that was not a tourist brasserie or an expensive French restaurant. The service was great. Although the menu wasn't in English, one of the staff (not sure if he was the owner or the chef or both) explained everything to us in perfect English and was very patient and polite to us. The food was fantastic. We started with fried codfish balls that were perfectly crispy. My wife had a very earthy chicken and I ate a spicy and delicious steak that was cooked perfectly (although perhaps with a tad too much lime). Dessert was banana flambe with ice cream. My wife's mojito was smooth yet strong. All in all, a wonderful restaurant and a nice break from all the crepe and croque madame places everywhere.
